Christmas happens to come in the middle of Winter and it can be cold and nasty even in Texas. Which hinders Charlie from playing outside. So I am always looking for new and fun things he can do inside. When I was searching online I found a site called Peekapak. I was excited as it combines building a craft and a book into one fun project.
I love Peekapak as it helps Children learn to love to read and the crafts inside Peekapak allow Charlie to use his imagination. Also, it gets our children from out of the front of the tv and off there game systems, Which I hate because I think Charlie spends too much time watching TV or playing on his game systems. Having Peekapak also helps Charlie with using scissors and math as sometimes we have to count items out on our fingers and the teachers fuss about this. As well as how Charlie use scissors as he isn’t as good as he needs to be.
Once Peekapak arrives I will open the box up and check it all out. As I love that the box can be reused as a storage box for the crafts we make. Or to wrap Gifts in as it is a perfect size to hold Gifts I plan on purchasing this year. I want to read the book and get familiar with the craft before Charlie and I sit down to work on it. I can do this through the card they enclose for the adults.
If you haven’t heard of Peekapack you can find them here. Which will explain what Peekapak is and how it can help children in so many different ways. If you check Peekapak out let me know what you think of this new company and if you would purchase one of the kits. Or if you have purchased them in the past what did you and your children think of it and why?
I can not wait till the box I am waiting on arrives as I want to see what all is inside it and what Craft Charlie and I will be able to do. Even if it arrives in the next couple days I will not be giving it to Charlie as it is part of his Christmas. But I am thinking I may pack it to take to my dads as one of the gifts he gets to open at his grandfather’s house. As this is a very unexpected trip and I need to have things under the tree to keep him busy and Peekapack will do that.
