Christmas Gift Guide 24: The Gnomes of Fibberton Book One Written by Becky Bell Illustrated by Aadil Khan

The Mommies Reviews

I thought I would share a new addition to our Christmas Gift Guide 24: The Gnomes of Fibberton Book 1 by Becky Bell (Author) Illustrated by Aadil Khan. I received a copy of the book in exchange for this review. Inside this post is my affiliate links. If you click on the link and make a purchase I will make a small percentage from the products you purchase.

The book begins with a new baby and we meet the Gnomes of Fibberton where it’s always to hot so no, one ever has fun. The air smells like sweaty feet and all the toys have been broken. I don’t want to visit there. What about you?

There is two things the Gnomes of Fibberton do and that is chores while singing there song. Doing the hard work until they get through. The second thing they do is sneak in the shadows, creeping, crouching and crawling hiding in the most impossible places.

If you find them they turn into statues there parents ignore. Then there is the fibs they go about collecting. To find out what happens next you will need to pick up a copy of The Gnomes of Fibberton Book 1.

David and my best friend love Gnomes and I can’t wait to give David The Gnomes of Fibberton Book 1 for Christmas and to purchase a copy of this children’s book for my best friend Debbie to read to her grandson Austin.

Inside my book was a bookmarker I will be keeping inside the book to hand down to Charlie’s children when he has som. As for the sticker I put it back in the book to but I wanted to give it to David because I knew he would like to Gnomes on the Stickers.

Inside the book is a QR Code that allows us to sing along with. If we were still #Homeschooling full time we would have used this book not only in our reading class but also in our Homeschool Music Class.

About:

In the hidden world of Fibberton, a story unfolds about the importance of being honest, much like the lessons in Aesop’s fables. “The Gnomes of Fibberton,” tells a tale where mysterious gnomes keep track of the lies, half-truths, and tall tails of the children throughout the world. This story shows how even a small lie can cause big problems, teaching kids why it’s important to tell the truth. Just like Aesop’s fables taught lessons long ago, this book helps young readers understand why honesty matters in a fun and magical way. Sing along with The Gnomes of Fibberton by scanning the QR code inside the book! Get your award winning copy now!
