Charlie and I were looking for a book to read this morning in his reading class when I handed Charlie Little Wonder. Charlie took the book and sat down on the couch and before we opened the book Charlie asked me what I thought the little boy on the cover was doing and we had fun coming up with things we thought he might be doing. As David heard us, he came to look at the cover of the book and even gave us his two scents.

Before I know what was happen David took the book and began thumbing through the story asking both Charlie and I questions. We sat down at the kitchen table as family and Charlie and I took turns reading Little Wonder to David. Allowing David to become a part of our Homeschool that morning and learning about what Charlie does on a daily basis. Bringing Charlie and David closer together.

I love how Little Wonder teaches love and shows us it’s okay to do new things because the person who loves you will always be waiting for you to return. Little Wonder is the perfect book not only for beginning readers but for parents to read to their children.

I Wish You More, The Wonderful Things You Will Be, and Finding Nemo combine in this story about courage and the importance of being open to going wherever the current takes you.
