Charlie link all little boys has always been intrigued with trucks. We’ve read everyone of the books in this series and there tucked away safely in Charlie’s baby tote. When Charlie has children of his own he can give the books to his children. Charlie is now 16 and he still has his Stinky The Garbage Truck he got from Santa when he was 2 which allows him to act out some of the scenes in the book.

Garbage Crew to the Rescue! starts off in a Town that has been left with out people living in it almost making it a Ghost Town. The Town is all dirty with trash and rubbish everywhere, houses are empty and falling down. The Town needs to be renovated and to help with renovating the town they call in the Garbage Trucks inside Garbage Crew to the Rescue!

The first truck in the book that we meet is the Roll-Off Turck who has a large container on his back. Roll Off Truck backs up and the container rolls off. He says he will be back when everyone is done cleaning up the town.

Then comes Container Delivery Truck dumping smaller dumpsters off which will be placed all around the town to hold all the rubbish they will be collecting. I don’t know about you but we need to clean out our home and our storage room and we could use a dumpster or two. How about you?

Then comes silence Flatbed who is a girl. Charlie thought finding out Silence was a girl was funny. What do you think? Silence brings garbage cans and I wish she would drop off a couple for my home. Do you need a garbage can as well?

Now look here comes Skid Steer. and Flatbed is here too and I’m not going to tell you what there jobs is because I want you to read Garbage Crew to the Rescue! with your family and you will find out its time to clean up and see how everyone pitches in. In the book Charlie also learns about Side Loaders.

Look at the Rear Loaders which Charlie and I could go on and on but were going to stop right here. Once you finish reading the book visit a Toy Store to see all the trucks in person. Don’t forget to brings your friends and family to look for more books in the series.

If Charlie and I were still #Homeschooling full time we would have used the book when learning about Trucks, Transportation and Construction as well as Recyling. We could even have gone on a Field Trip to a Dump Yard, Recycling Bin and a new home construction site to see trucks like this being used. Then we could have read other books in the series and even made Cookies in the shapes of trucks using 6pcs Truck & Excavator Cookie Cutters Set, Stainless Steel Sandwiches Cutter Shapes Biscuit Mold Cookie Cutter for Kids, Sturdy Cutters for Cookies, Sandwiches, Biscuits.
