I’m back with a addition to our Christmas Gift Guide 23: “Sydney’s Adventure in New Mexico” by Geena Russo (Author), Brooke Jenzano (Illustrator)who sent me a copy of the book for this review and spot in our Gift Guide.
“Sydney’s Adventure in New Mexico” is a children’s book for children from 3 to 6 but I enjoyed the story and so did B and C and they said anyone of any age would enjoy the story and learning about Sydney and the adventures he goes on. For our family with the story being set in New Mexico we can add it to our Homeschool Studies on States.
There is one thing I would like to point out Sydney has two mom’s who live together and for some of my friends this would turn them off but it didn’t affect mine or Charlie’s thoughts on the story we just want you to be prepared incase your children ask questions. Charlie liked learning Sydney is a mi ed doggy and a rescue just like our Dogs Annnie and Pheobie.
I love how the Author shares what Sydney is going through which we can use with our own dogs if you or someone you know hasn’t’ been around a dog this book will make them feel more comfortable as it teaches us what the dog is doing when his fur is up and why. I hope you take the time to read this new story and don’t forget its almost time for Christmas and this is the perfect Gift for children of all ages. Or people who enjoy traveling or pet lovers.
