I would like to share a addition to our . I received a physical copy of the book in exchange for this review. Once you finish reading Little Red and sharing the book with your friends and family then you should check out the rest of the Authors books at:
Charlie and I sat down to read Little Red this morning when Charlie got up to go into the kitchen. I asked Charlie if something was wrong and he said mom isn’t that a truck like Pa would have liked. I could hear Charlie’s voice tearing up when I asked him if he meant David’s dad or my dad. Charlie said Papa which is my dad.
I let Charlie know my dad would have wanted this truck. Charlie said I wish I could find one and its what I would get when I turn 16 because you collect this trucks and you even have a Little Red don’t you mom. I let Charlie know I did have and its most likely in my Christmas closet which is where this book will go to be displayed under the Christmas Tree this year.
Charlie and I sat the book aside until David got home and we read the story as a family and both Charlie and David was able to read the book without struggling. Charlie and David can’t wait to share the story of Little Red with his grandmother and his cousins. Although they will need to get there own book because this one is mine all mine.
Charlie said when we go see our Tree Lighting we should take the book to read that night and I agree with Charlie. Although David says we should reread the story when we begin decorating our own Christmas Tree and he is right as well. Because like with Little Red the Tree Lighting is the most important night of the year.
Charlie was surprised to find the driver of Little Red is a girl Katie which I thought was cool. What do you think? Should it be a girl or a boy driving the truck and why? Even when the Snow starts Katie and Little Red are out in it helping others like the Purple Delivery Van which I would like to have for my office.
Blue Calliope Car ask for her help as his headlight isn’t working. Katie and Little Red help him. Then they go on there way and hear Green Fire Truck say I’m stuck so they help him next. Look next is Yellow Popcorn Wagon who has a flat tire and they help fixt the flat. oh, no Orange Utility Truck is out of gas. Little Red and Katie to the recdue again.
Guess what Katie and Little Red find… a Shiny Silver Sleigh with a broken hitch. They fix the hitch and off goes the sleigh. it looks like there day is almost gone. Here comes the Snow around Tiny Town as the tree goes up up up. I want to help put it. Would you like to help as well? look the lights came on. Hip Hip Hooray!! The day is done and everyone got to see the tree get light. Isn’t that awesome?
