It’s been raining off and on the past couple day. This makes it hard for me to get outside and walk. This morning when I got up and say my pile of books I’ve been meaning to read I had to sit new goals for myself.

I’ve decided before working in the morning I’ve going to read for 30 minutes a day before going to work. Then I’m going to walk for at least 10 minutes because a little rain will not hurt us will it? At night before bed I’m going to walk again for another 10 minutes which will give me over 30 minutes from walking through the house throughout the day.

When I come inside from my walk I will get my favorite beverage and the book I’m reading and read for 30 minute before finding a movie to wind down to in the evening. Giving me a hour of reading each day. Would you want to join me in my #goals because One of the books #walking and #exercising is always more fun with friends and family.

Join me this week and let’s read Fern Michaels novel Holly and Ivy: An Uplifting Holiday Novel toghter which gives us a Season To Cherish because before we know it the #Holidays will be here and everyone will be crazy busy.

About:

The #1 New York Times bestselling author’s “bittersweet Christmas story offers the promise of a better tomorrow” (Booklist).

The flames of memory always seem to glow a little brighter during the holidays. Perhaps that’s why this time of year is so difficult for airline heiress Ivy Macintosh, as she faces thoughts of yet another festive Season alone. Since the plane crash that claimed the lives of her husband and two children eight years ago, she’s been submerged in grief.

When eleven-year-old Holly Greenwood knocks on her door, lost and frightened after a forbidden visit to her singing teacher, Ivy’s self-imposed exile is shattered. Holly has an extraordinary voice and wants nothing more than to perform in an upcoming Christmas musical.

Holly’s father, Daniel, doesn’t allow music in their home, refusing to give a good reason why. Yet Ivy is drawn to the warmth she senses beneath his gruff exterior. As Christmas nears, their shared concern for Holly begins to draw Ivy back into the world again—and toward a family who may need her just as much as she needs them . . .

“This time of the year it is great to have a story that will put a smile on your face. I know it did for me. So as the weather gets colder and Christmas is nearer, Holly and Ivy could be the book for you.”—Fresh Fiction

“The storyline is an emotional rollercoaster, so keep a tissue box nearby . . . A great read.”— RT Book Reviews, 4 Stars
