Charlie went to Church this morning and left me explicit instructions not to read Every Dreaming Creature by Brendan Wenzel (Author) until he got home. Then we would sit down and read the story together because he liked the Tiger and the orange Butterfly on the cover of the book. As well as the Bird. Before Charlie gets home I would like to let you know I received this book in exchange for this review.
Yeah, Charlie is home and now we can read the book. Thank the Lord, as the Tiger has been watching me all morning. Waiting on my to dive into his story. We opened the book and read the poem on the book jacket about different animals and found a few we can’t wait to study in our Homeschool studies on animals. Would you like to join us as we learn about Salamanders and Octopus.
The story begins with a Salamander we learn about then he comes a dancer. Now, look were an Octopus. Then a gentle giant. Do you know what that was? Well I am not going to tell you. You will need to pick up a copy of Every Dreaming Creature to find out. Now, a Pilot. Then a Falcon which Charlie couldn’t wait to learn more about.
Now, a silent hunter and no, again I will not tell you what that is because you need to pick up your own copy of the book to find out. Now, I am a performer and a explorer. Now, a humming helper and a happy queen. There I was and was and was again. As a dreaming creature who is sound asleep.
Before you ask if that is all he was no, it isn’t but to find out what else he is you will need to pick up a copy of Every Dreaming Creature to share with your friends and family. This new soft paperback book is perfect for small children through adults who love animals or beautiful illustrations full of color and movement.
