An Actually Thoughtful Teacher Gift

We’ve always known that teachers are basically superheroes. And now after a global pandemic? We bow down. Teachers have found ways to educate and inspire their students, whether it’s been via Zoom, behind masks, or in carefully regulated classrooms of kids who have missed out on regular instruction in the past couple of years.

Anything we do to share our gratitude will be insufficient, but it’s certainly worth every effort we can make to say “Thank you. We see you. We appreciate everything you’ve done.” Especially after what we’ve gone through together.

So as a former teacher, I beg of you… let’s move beyond the coffee mugs in cellophane. The most common teacher gifts are nice and definitely received with appreciation, but they’re generic. Your child’s teacher will end up with a pile of hot chocolate packets, homemade treats (which they may not be able to accept or eat), packs of gum or candy with punny tags, and cute mugs. We can do better.

Kudoboard: A Thoughtful Teacher Gift

What a teacher really needs is the knowledge that they’re making a difference. A teacher needs to hear that they’re having an impact. But how do you wrap that up in holiday gift wrap? You gift Kudoboard

A Kudoboard is a group greeting card that gathers submissions from as many contributors as you’d like (parents, students, other faculty & staff, etc.). Submissions can be written messages, memories, photos, GIFs, videos, and more. Simply choose a background, font, and submission settings, then fire off the link for contributors. Everyone can contribute on their own time—no rushing around to catch people on lunch breaks or at school pickup. The board can then be delivered automatically via email, or you can print it as a poster or book for a more tangible keepsake.

Why is a Kudoboard the perfect teacher gift?

A well-designed Kudoboard is

Imagine your beloved teacher opening up a Kudoboard overflowing with heartfelt messages, funny GIFs, cute videos of students saying “We Love You!” and more. You’ll make their whole Christmas.

In just a few minutes you can have your board ready for submissions, and the heavy lifting is done! It’s an absolute home run for less money and less effort than the generic, cluttered gifts piling up on their desks this holiday season.

Give the gift of true appreciation this Christmas to the real MVPs—teachers and school staff.

Thank you,
