Christmas isn’t just for children it’s for adults as well. I would like to let you know I have Games adults will be waiting in line to play with you. I would like to ask you to help me welcome Games Adults Play to this years Christmas Gift Guide 2018. I wanted this new Shit Happens for David.
I thought David might like visiting his friend Ed next year and they could play Shit Happens as Shit Happens would allow them to spend time together playing Board Games. Which might lead to David wanting to spend time with Charlie and I playing some of the Board Games Charlie has. Family Game Night is the perfect way to spend a evening making new memories with those we love.
Games Adults Play outrageously hilarious card game, Shit Happens, has sparked the fuse for a brand-new comedy game show, Misery Index. This new TBS series will be led by the stars of truTV’s Impractical Jokers, to find humor ranking life’s misfortunes.
The Shit Happens collection has been bringing people together through
mutual shock and awe of
terribly-unfortunate scenarios since its Kickstarter in 2016. Created by former
SNL writer,
Andy Breckman, the game entails
200 shitty situation cards ranked from
0-100 according to
The Misery Index.
What’s worse?
Stepping in dog shit or
finding half a dead hooker in your bed? The player who most accurately guesses, keeps the card.
Inspired by
Shit Happens, TBS is adding 10 episodes of the
half-hour comedy,Misery Index, to its lineup of unscripted programs. The creators and stars of
truTV’s Impractical Jokers,
Brian “Q” Quinn,
James “Murr” Murray, Joe Gatto and
Sal Vulcano, will serve as recurring panelists. Collectively known as
The Tenderloins, these experts in humiliation will team up with civilian players to compete for the weekly cash prize.
Misery Index will feature two teams of three, each consisting of one
civilian player and
two Tenderloin teammates. Teams will compete against each other by attempting to determine the ranking of
hilarious and miserable real-life events, based on the
Shit Happens cards.
Misery Index is developed by comedy writer Andy Breckman, the creator and executive producer of the Emmy® Award-winning series Monk, along with Ben & Dan Newmark of Grandma’s House Entertainment. The series is executive produced by Breckman, the Newmarks, Howard Klein of 3 Arts Entertainment, and Rob Anderson, who will serve as showrunner.
I will be back after Christmas to share David’s thoughts on his new game. As well as my thoughts if David let me play with him.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
