Christmas Gift Guide 2018: Pereg Everything But The Bagel

The Mommies Reviews

I’m here this morning with another post for the Christmas Gift Guide 2018:  Pereg Everything But The Bagel. I would like to let you know Pereg sent me a container of  Everything But The Bagel to use in cooking. The thoughts in this review for Everything But The Bagel are all mine and my families.

David and I tried Everything but The Bagel on Pork Chops as well as Steak. David and I both enjoyed                          Everything But The Bagel we decided to share Everything But The Bagel with my mother in law so she can prepare my father n laws favorite meal of Steak for him. Before she could finish dinner for her and my father in law my stepdaughter Leslie and her family arrived and Granny made them Steaks as well. Both Leslie and Toby let me know they enjoyed Everything But The Bagel a lot and can’t wait to purchase it for there home.

Unlike most families we do not use Salt or Pepper in our home although we use other Seasonings when cooking. Unless my father is here, and he has to have Salt and Pepper on everything he eats. For David using Salt and Pepper is a problem because Salt causes Davids knees to swell up and causing it hard to walk. Which means when my dad is visiting, I end up having to prepare one meal with Salt and Pepper and the second meal for our family without Salt and Pepper. Not using Salt and Pepper is healthier for David not only for his knees but for the Heart condition David has suffered from.

I was excited when Pereg sent me a bottle of Everything But The Bagel to try out and use in our cooking. l was excited for Everything But The Bagel to arrive because I knew Everything But The Bagel would give the recipes we create a unique taste. The other day I wanted to prepare Homemade French Fries. I wanted to put spices on the Fries but I couldn’t decide on which spices I wanted to use.

I went and looked through the spice cabinet when I found Everything But The Bagel. I decided to try                        Everything But The Bagel out and let me tell you the French Fries were so tasty. Both Charlie and David enjoyed the Fries and asked for a second helping. David and Charlie think they enjoyed the French Fries as much as I did but I think I liked them more and can’t wait to make more French Fries.

I loved the seasoning Everything But The Bagel puts on the food we prepare. Both Charlie and David let me know  Everything But The Bagel wasn’t overpowering. We will be using  Everything But The Bagel not only on our Fries in the the Future but other recipes we create. Be watching to see what David prepares as he is the one who usually does the cooking in our home.

Charlie asked for Mini Sliders last night (Hamburgers/ Cheeseburgers) when I went to prepare the Hamburgers, I decided to try Everything But The Bagel on mine and the meat tasted yummy. I asked Charlie if he wanted a bite of my Slider and I let Charlie know I had used Everything But The Bagel which was a new seasoning from what Charlie had on his Slider.  Charlie tasted my Slider and Charlie asked me if he could have my Slider because  he thought it had a better taste than his Slider did. I agreed with Charlie.

Once David heard this, he asked Charlie for a bit of his Slider and David agreed with Charlie the Sliders with         Everything But The Bagel was tastier than the Sliders I made for David and Charlie. Next time all I will use when making Sliders is Everything But The Bagel for all of us.

I can’t wait till we purchase groceries this week as I want to purchase Potatoes and prepare my Twice Baked Mashed Potato only I want to use Everything But The Bagel in place of the spices I use when I prepare Twice Baked Mashed Potato for the Holidays.

I can’t wait until David is home with me this evening as I was online looking through Pereg’s website and I found quite a few items I want to purchase and try in our home as well as purchase to give as Christmas Gifts.

A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING (BUT THE BAGEL) SPICE MIX WILL BRING BIG FLAVOR TO EVERYTHING!

Introducing Everything But The Bagel Spice Mix from Pereg Natural Foods

Clifton, NJ, Sept 6, 2018 – Pereg, the leading purveyor of all-natural exotic spices, wants to shake up the salt and pepper standard. In fact, they think their newest spice mix may forever change the American table — and palate.

“Think about what’s on every kitchen table. Salt? Check. Pepper? Check. But that’s getting boring — and that’s not everything,” says Pereg CEO Gil Schneider.

Coming to the rescue is Pereg’s new Everything But The Bagel Spice Mix. Put it next to the salt and pepper and you’ve got, well, everything you need to add big, delicious flavor to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.

Everything But The Bagel Spice Mix gives you that irresistible everything bagel taste, without all the carbs. A special mix of natural flavors including onion, garlic, poppy, salt, and three kinds of sesame seeds, you can jazz up practically everything with it. Stir it into plain cream cheese for a flavor burst. Sprinkle it on grilled meats, avocado toast, rice, scrambled eggs, salads, chicken, pancakes, and more.

Like most great recipes, Everything Bagel was invented from using leftovers. As legend has it, back around 1980, a teenager working at a bagel place in New York had the end-of-shift task of sweeping out the oven of all the toppings that fell off the different bagels. One day, after tasting the collection of leftover spices, he suggested to his boss that they not throw out the mixture as they usually did, but instead use it to create a new bagel flavor. Bagel history was made when the newfangled “everything” bagel sold out the next day.

“I really can’t think of anything that Pereg’s Everything But The Bagel Spice Mix doesn’t go with,” says Joy, Pereg’s spice guru. “It can add a zesty punch of flavor to anything at any time.”

“Here at the Pereg headquarters, we’ve been getting quite a taste kick out of sprinkling on everything — turkey sandwiches, Ramen noodles, soups, you name it,” adds Joy.

Look for Pereg Everything But The Bagel Spice Mix in the supermarket spice aisle September, 2018. It’s fresh, 100% natural, gluten-free, vegan, and OU and CRC kosher-certified, with no MSG, additives or preservatives. A 5.3 oz jar will retail for $5.50.
