Christmas Gift Guide 2018 features Thames & Kosmos is sending me Games from EXIT: The Game. In exchange for a review and feature inside this years Christmas Gift Guide. I would like to remind you the thoughts in this review will happen in December as the Games are put up for David and Charlie for Christmas.
I will receive the Games below but when I was on Thames looking around I found the following items I would like to get Charlie. Remote-Control Machines: Farm when Charlie was little he was obsessed with John Deere Tractors and this would allow Charlie to be a child a little longer.
As well as Word Slam or Word Slam Family would help Charlie use his imagination to figure out what something is. I like that Charlie would have to read to play Word Slam and Word Slam Family as well as get up and move because is like charades, but instead of acting, you can only communicate with word cards!
EXIT: The Game is a new series of party games for up to four players that offers a unique, unforgettable gaming experience. These games allow you to bring the excitement, intensity, and team spirit of an escape room to your living room. In each EXIT game, your team starts out locked in an imaginary room, or trapped somewhere. You must solve a series of riddles and puzzles in order to unlock doors and reveal new riddles. Each correct solution brings you to another riddle and eventually to freedom. The clock is ticking: You must solve all of the puzzles as fast as you can because the faster your team escapes the room and the fewer hints you use along the way, the more points you earn. Get ready to test your creative problem solving and logical thinking skills, because the rule book in an EXIT game doesn’t reveal all the rules like in other games. After the rule book gets you started, it’s up to your team to discover for itself how the rooms look, what the clues are, how to decipher them, and how to escape. Can you crack the codes and manage to escape the room?

Finally, a vacation! This year, you’re going to an idyllic village in the mountains. Instead of driving, you decide to take the train this time. After a three hour delay, you arrive in your vacation rental, where you find various brochures for local events and attractions — including an impressive castle. The flyer looks quite amateur and self-printed, but you’re a sucker for medieval castles!
The next day, you get up and go to the castle. There’s no ticket booth. No one else appears to be around. Well, at least you can explore the place in peace! You enter the castle and find yourself in a magnificent throne room. Suddenly the big, wooden door locks behind you and you realize that maybe (again) this was not such a good idea …
The castle is full of mysteries. Only if you can solve all of the puzzles together in time will you escape. If not, your creepy host will probably never let you leave again …

Company Bio
Thames & Kosmos was founded in 2001 by a science museum director and her son, who saw the great need and demand for better science education materials — resources for parents and their children that are more engaging, more effective, more relevant, and more fun.
Thames & Kosmos operates as the exclusive arm of parent company, Franckh-Kosmos Verlags-GmbH & Co. KG — Kosmos for short — based in Stuttgart, Germany. Founded in 1822, Kosmos operated solely as a book publisher until the 1920’s, when the company published its first science kits aimed at explaining the world of science to children and young adults by bringing it to life with hands-on experiments.
Generations of European children have discovered their enthusiasm for science through Kosmos science kits. Since 2001, Thames & Kosmos and Kosmos have teamed up to develop science kits for children in the United States and other English speaking markets around the world.
