In the past my family has visited the Dallas Arboretum during the Fall when it was decorated for Halloween but we’ve never been during Christmas. I could wait to share Christmas Events in DWF: and to say Let’s Check Out Holidays at the Dallas Arboretum and please bring your family and friends.

Join us for an afternoon of Gingerbread house decoration with Sugar Artist Diana Warsham. Learn the art of constructing and decorating your very own Gingerbread house using royal Icing, powdered Sugar and assorted Candies for a festive touch. This fun class is perfect for all skill levels and promises to be an enjoyable afternoon of creativity and holiday cheer for the whole family. *One house per Adult registration.

Guests are invited to explore the historic DeGolyer House, transformed each year with a new holiday theme. This year, the house is decorated in a Della Robbia-inspired floral style, featuring stunning arrangements of fruit, vegetables, foliage, and flowers throughout.
Curated by designer Michael Hamilton, “A Della Robbia Holiday” blends 15th-century Florence with timeless American tradition, creating a truly unique seasonal display. Visitors will also have the chance to see a few terracotta sculptures by Luca Della Robbia.
Please note that the DeGolyer House will be closed December 3 from 1-9pm & December 11 from 6-9pm.

Enjoy a beautiful Tea in the DeGolyer Tea Room. Tea service begins with a demitasse of select Soup, followed by a second course of assorted Tea Sandwiches, and a third course of sweet treats. Also included are Scones with Clotted Cream, Jam, and Seasonal Tea selections.
Reservations are required and must be made 24 hours in advance. The price includes complimentary garden admission, parking, and gratuity. Please plan a bit of extra time to park and walk to DeGolyer to ensure you arrive to your Tea on time.

Santa is back at the perfect Holiday setting – The Pauline and Austin Neuhoff Family Christmas Village. Share your Christmas wish with the jolly old man and take a photo to commemorate the occasion. Keepsake family photos are available for a donation to the Volunteer Advisory Board on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 12-3pm beginning November 30 through December 22.
