Join storied Nashville singer-songwriter and author Andrew Peterson as he presents the Advent song cycle Behold the Lamb of God: The True Tall Tale of the Coming of Christ at St. Andrew Methodist Church.
Now in the tour’s 25th year, Behold the Lamb will feature guest artists Jess Ray, The Arcadian Wild, Andy Gullahorn, Jill Phillips, Andrew Osenga, and Skye Peterson along with an all-star cast of Nashville songwriters and session musicians.

A Tuna Christmas- December 6-22
A Tuna Christmas is the second in a series of comedic plays (preceded by Greater Tuna and followed by Red, White and Tuna and Tuna Does Vegas), each set in the fictional town of Tuna, Texas, the “third-smallest” Town in the state.
The trilogy was written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard. The plays are at once an affectionate comment on small-Town, Southern life and attitudes but also a withering satire of same. The plays are notable in that two men play the entire cast of over twenty eccentric characters of multiple genders and various ages.
The first play, Greater Tuna, debuted in 1981 in Austin; A Tuna Christmas debuted in 1989 with touring ending in 2012 after Sears’ retirement from the troupe. Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13. Parents are urged to be cautious.

Dickens in Downtown Plano– December 7
Kick off the holiday season with Dickens, a free event on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 4 to 9 pm in the Historic Downtown Plano Arts District.
Bring the whole family for our annual celebration which includes photos with Santa, a snow slide, the Coffee and Cocoa Walk, the Children’s Entrepreneur Market, and a traditional Tree lighting with the Plano Mayor and city VIPs. The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 7 pm. The downtown businesses will stay open late so guests can enjoy food and shopping.
The event is located in Haggard Park, McCall Plaza and on a limited section of 15th Street in Downtown Plano. Free parking is available at the Plano Municipal Center (1520 K Avenue) and public lots off 14th Street. Follow the Plano Arts & Events Facebook page for the latest event updates.
