Charlie wants to take Karate

Charlie and I have been talking about Sports and what he could do for Homeschool. As he has always liked Soccer and played it in the past. But also has wanted to do Karate ever since he was three. But I always thought he was too young. Then the other day we was going to run a Errand and paced a Karate Studio on Broadway close to our home. And David asked if Charlie wanted to do Karate. And Charlie said yes, so David stopped.

And I called the number on the door and set a appointment up to go and talk to the owner last night. But David had to work till 11pm and we wasn’t able to make our appointment. So Charlie asked me today if we would be able to go and talk to the gentleman today and I said we could.

But that I had a surprise for him  as Zootopia was playing at Coyote Drive-In and we could do one or the other but might not be able to do both. And it surprised me when Charlie picked the movie out over Karate. But I was OK with that as I knew we would be able to check on classes another day.

But as I sat down to work I kept struggling with the price of the Karate classes as it was $80 a month and even though I knew we could afford it. And that it would be part of our Homeschool class. I hated to spend that much money and I was afraid we might not have it sometimes. And Charlie would have to quit classes. Which wouldn’t be fair to him.

So as I sat down to work I thought I would look online and see what our Recreation Center had to offer as I knew they should have Soccer classes. And low and behold I found Karate classes for $20 a month. So we will be going up to the Recreation Center either this evening or tomorrow to see if they take Charlies age and to sign him up.

And I can tell you this was all God’s plan for us. As he knew what we needed for Charlie. And he has opened a door that I thought was closed. So if your struggling with something make sure and ask God for help. Because even though it might not be what your expecting he will help you. Just as he did Charlie and I.

And if the Recreation works out I can join there Fitness Center and work out while Charlie takes his class. Or I can go outside and walk the track at the middle school as it is right across the street. So with Charlie taking classes at the Recreation Center God has opened up more doors for us. That I would have thought possible.

So Please be Praying for us this weekend as we go and check out the classes. And also let there be some Charlie and Alex the catother Homeschool PE classes Charlie can sign up for. As we need to keep Charlie as active as possible to keep him from getting bored with school. And not want to sit down and do his work. Which Charlie has to do.
