Charlie and I love movies of all kinds!

The Mommies Reviews

Charlie and I love movies of all kinds and its fun when I can share movies from when I was younger with Charlie. Or movies that my nephew David and Suzzane enjoyed which allows Charlie to get to know his family better and what we did as kids.

When David Michael and Suzzane were small on Saturdays, we would go to the Dollar Show when it opened, we stayed until it closed. We would watch movies back-to-back and only leave long enough to grab lunch. I haven’t ever done this with Charlie, but I would like to.

I always watch Movie Tavern and also Alamo Drafthouse show Retro Films that Suzzane, David and I watched. And then I take Charlie to see them. In May they will be showing Top Gun. And this is one of my favorite films of all times. Also, Charlies. So I can not wait to make him a ticket to  go inside his Easter Basket. Asking Charlie to go with me to see Top Gun.

Since I’m such a nice person I will let the AUDIENCE know that Charlie and I sing and say all the phrases from Top Gun outload. Especially “The Need for Speed” and “Great Balls of Fire”. When Goose dies, I cry like a baby and it doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen Top Gun I still cry and always will.

Charlie and I will be seeing Top Gun at Movie Tavern in Bedford, Texas and I would like to invite you to come and join us. And let us know what your favorite part of Top Gun is and why it is your favorite part.

And look at the list above is there any other Retro Films you would like to see and if so which ones and who would you take with you? As there are 3 or 4 more that I think David would like and I might be nice and take him to see them even though I do not care for them that much. But a wife can be nice sometimes “RIGHT”??

So if you love Movies as much as we do I thought you might want to look up Movie Tavern and see what was playing in your area. That you and your family might enjoy seeing. So here is a link to Movie Tavern website.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
