I am so proud to say Charlie is living the Summer of his dreams and overcoming a lot of his fears. As we took him to the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum.
Where he was able to meet Wrestlers and took the items they used in the ring. As well as bring items home most people wouldn’t have the chance of having. Along with getting signed posters and being invited back out in May.
Then he was asked to go out to the Lake House with Tammy. Where Tammy, David and I thought we would be asked to come get Charlie as he wouldn’t want to stay but he has been there since Friday.
With no sign of wanting to come home which is awesome as he used to not want to spend the night away from home. Nor, would he and Aiden be able to get along this long. So I can finally say he is growing up.
Then last night they built a Fire and made Smores which is something Charlie has been asking to do all Summer. They played Tag just as we did as children. Along with digging in the sand.
Then Tammy asked the boys if they wanted to go into the lake. Which I didn’t think Charlie would as he is afraid of the lake. As there is a sign that say “Watch for alligators”.
But Charlie overcome his fear and he went into the lake and had a blast. So I am hopping to be able to join them at the Lake House today so I can see all the fun they have been having.
If Tammy’s boss who rented the Lake House and wasn’t going to use and say’s its okay David and I will be going out to have dinner with the boys. So he can play in the lake with them. As for me I am taking a book because there is no, way, no, how I am getting anywhere near that water. I refuse to be a alligators dinner.
