Charlie has gotten Hot Wheels Toys in his Stocking since he was a baby. This year wasn’t any different but instead of David getting Hot Wheels for him it was me.
I was in Walmart I picked up the HW Off Road The Haulinator for Charlie. This Hot Wheels car was different from all the other Hot Wheel cars he has. It’s hard to believe as he has over a 1000 cars. Or at least it seems like it.
When I was inside Kroger, I found a set of cars in a package. They were the Hot wheels Mustang 5 pack and both Charlie and I are obsessed with Mustangs. I picked this set of cars up for Charlie I want to start decorating Charlie’s room. hen Charlie will play in there and hopefully start to sleep in his own room.
I need to find a shelf for Charlie for the walls and so far I haven’t found any I like. Next week I will be out looking for at least three or four of them.
I sure hope I find some. We also need them for all the games he got for Christmas. And for his books. Because he has enough books that he could start his own library. Which is great for homeschooling. As I did not have to purchase any books for Charlie other than schoolbooks.
My question is how would I store all the Hot Wheels he has to play with? As the toy box he has inside his room takes up to much space. Plus Charlie says he is too big for a toy box and wants to store his toys in other things. So he can put his Stereo and computer as well as a desk and tv into his room.
With a dresser and a corvette bed that doesn’t leave me much room to store all of Charlie’s cars, trucks and Lego’s. Charlie also has Mine-craft and Halo Toys for me to fit inside his room.
I wanted to start Charlie a city so the cars are put up and not lost. Those items I can put on a shelf if and when I find one. Then there is also shoes and more shoes which Charlie collects and the more shoes Charlie has the happier he is.
My question is what do I do to organize Charlies room and get everything he want’s inside it. I know I could downsize and have him get rid of toys, clothes and shoes. Expect for the corvette bed which I refuse to get rid of . One day I hope Charlie will sleep in the bed.
As for everything else it could go and I would be just fine with that. We painted Charlie’s room blue but now he wants to change it to red which I am trying to figure out how to do that without redoing the whole room.
The door is so dirty that I need to find a way to spruce it up. Charlie likes adding stickers to it but David doesn’t. I was thinking about a chalkboard door but didn’t know how that might look in a little boy’s room so what do you think about that? And would it look funny?
Once Charlies room is all done we can use the Hot Wheels in school as we can go over the shapes, colors and use the types of cars for spelling. And also use them in math. So even though they are a toy they can also be used to teach a lesson with. So all these cars may just come in handy.
I can’t wait till this year for Christmas because I want to see which Hot Wheel Toys Charlie gets. I usually get David and my sister a Hot Wheel car as well. If I can I also get a car for myself. Then we can play with Charlie. If were not careful Charlie ends up taking our cars as well. Isn’t that what ‘boys do”!?!?
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
