Charlie Can Be A Little Stinker

Today I would like to tell you what happened to me last Saturday. As Charlie Can Be A Little Stinker. Especially when it comes to my work and having to go with me. As you see I had a appointment set up at the American Legion to talk to Don about our event on March 18th. So I got up and got dressed and I asked Charlie to do the same thing.

Once I was ready to walk out the door Charlie wasn’t ready as he was still on his game. So after asking him to get ready more than once, I was beyond frustrated. So I just walked out of the house and started to walk to the American Legion.

A few minutes later I hear someone running up behind me and being a mom I knew it was Charlie. So he fussed all the way to the American Legion. Though once we arrived he was the best child I could ever ask for.

Now I would like to le you know that once again this was Gods way of putting new people into my path because if I had been a few minutes later I would have missed a gentleman that was  helping with a Car Show and also a Celebrity Photo Shot at that American Legion.

So as we talked I learned that the Poker Run and car show is for a gentleman who is helping his brother who had a Stroke. Which my father has also had. The only difference is this gentleman is a father and the sole breadwinner in his home.

As I heard his story I knew I needed to help in any way I could. So I came home and went out on a limb and called the gentleman and now we are working together to raise money for his brother and his family.

As it will be quite a while before he is able to go back to work. So today I would like to ask you to reach out to the American Legion post #655 off Carson and 121 and see how you can help this family out.

Or come to the event they are hosting as they will be having a Silent Auction. Plus, some of the ladies I work with will be setting up at the event. Along with him coming to my event to tell his brothers story and to get support for his event.

As we talked I mentioned I would like to host a Poker Run and Car Show for Autism and now both gentleman will be helping me with this event. Along with giving us some suggestions on where to host future events.

So even though you do not know where God is leading you if you sit back and listen he will led you to the places you should be. As Charlie has loved motorcycles just as much as David does. So he even has the opportunity to ride one through the gentleman I met.

Now more than anything I would like to let you know both men came and joined me last night at the Networking Meeting I host at Grandy’s and that meant more to me than anything as it shows they trust me and are willing to work with me.

Once again God is helping me grow in so many ways that I can truly say I will soar this year in so many new and different ways and if your willing to listen you can and will do the same thing. You just have to Fully Rely On God.

Now ask them what Charlie said the night they called me back…

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
