The other day David, Charlie and I were on our way home. When David said there is a Turtle in the street. David, stopped the car until the turtle had gotten to the side of the road.
Charlie would like to ask you to watch out for turtles when your out and about. As we have seen signs saying turtles crossing the street. As well as saw Post on Facebook about turtles and we wouldn’t want to see them get hurt.
We started to drive off and Charlie said no, dad we can’t leave the Turtle he might get hurt. Then I heard Charlie say he doesn’t have any water or food. David tried to convince Charlie the turtle would be okay.
Charlie, couldn’t be consoled and we ended up bringing the turtle home with us. Charlie has been taking care of him for the past week. Now, Charlie is ready to take him to the lake this weekend and set him free.
I’m so glad Charlie has decided to let the turtle go because even though Charlie has been taking care of the turtle he stinks and the dogs will not leave the turtle alone.
David and I are afraid they will end up hurting the turtle and if they did Charlie wouldn’t ever forgive the dogs and neither would David or I. Pray that Charlie is able to set the turtle free this weekend.
