The last day of school each year they have Field Day at Charlies school. So David and I always try and attend. So this year we got there just as they was lining up for the Rely Race. When I watched Charlie during the rely race all I can say is Charlie amazed me at Field Day.
Now, I know Charlie can run and run pretty fast. So once he took off I knew he would be in the front of the race. Although what I didn’t know was he would win.
So Charlie came in first the first time the boys ran and tied for 1st the second time they ran. So I was one proud parent when they handed Charlie his ribbon as he has always worked so hard inside class to be recognized and never has been.
So this meant so my much not only to Charlie but also to myself. So today I would like to let Charlie know how much I love him and how proud of him I was. In fact it wouldn’t have mattered to me if he had come in last place as long as he tried.
So today what have your children done lately that have made you so proud of them that you could burst. Or what are they working on that has totally surprised you?
