David, Charlie and I were given tickets to Champions of Magic. This was our first time to visit Fair Park Music Hall. I loved how easy the Music Hall was to find. Once we walked inside I loved the Christmas Tree outside. As well as seeing all the events they would be hosting on the wall.
We walked inside and were told there was a Bistro on the upper floor which was a nice treat. We could have a snack before Champions of Magic began. We went downstairs to the restroom and I loved seeing all the Playbills of past events on the wall. We found a Fountain and it was so pretty, calming and a unexpected treat.
We went inside the Fair Park Music Hall and I loved seeing we were seated right up front. It was nice looking around and no, matter where we would have sat we would have been able to see the stage. Charlie, David and I were surprised to see people bringing in drinks including Liquor.I let David know if we return to Fair Park Music Hall in the future we would bring money for snacks and drinks.
I liked knowing there was free parking out front and we could get pretty close to the front door as it was cold which bothers my knees. I can’t walk that far. All the staff were so kind. The Ushers even escorted us to our seats. I loved having them seat us as it saved us time and kept us from getting lost.
Champions of Magic begin and as soon as they started Charlie didn’t move at all.I thought Charlie might get bored but he didn’t. As we were leaving Charlie even thanked me for bringing him. Then Charlie asked me to find more events like Champions of Magic we could go watch. Charlie said if he were still homeschooling he could have use some of the things he saw Champions of Magic perform in the classes he was taking.
In the Lobby they had a Magic Kit for sale and other merchandise. If I had knew about this before hand I would have purchased the Magic Kit for Charlie. Because the Magic Kit would have made a wonderful Christmas Gift. Once Champions of Magic finished performing we could get pictures and autographs but David had to be at work early the next morning so I couldn’t stay. I wish I had been able to as the pictures would have looked wonderful on our Music Wall were putting together.

KAYLA DRESCHER CLOSE-UP MAGIC EXPERT
A multi-award winning performer, named ‘The Next Great Magician’ by David Copperfield on The Today Show, Kayla continues to push reality’s limits with incredible magic right in front of your eyes.
Charlie enjoyed the card tricks KAYLA DRESCHER was performing and that KAYLA used people from the Audience. I enjoyed seeing Charlie try to figure out how KAYLA was doing the Card Tricks. I know if Charlie had a chance he would have liked to ask KAYLA questions. Charlie let me know KAYLA was his favorite performer in Champions of Magic.
ALEX MCALEER Master Mind Reader
Possessing the uncanny ability to apparently tap into his audiences’ minds and read their thoughts at will, Alex McAleer has wowed audiences across the world.
David enjoyed ALEX MCALEER performance. Along with Charlie and before you ask I did as well. Although like Charlie and David I had my favorite performers. David let me know he hopes he has a chance to see ALEX MCALEER in the future. I will be looking for ALEX to return to Fort Worth and purchasing tickets for David.
FERNANDO VELASCO
From strait jackets to water tanks and handcuffs to giant steel traps, Fernando faces some of the deadliest escape stunts ever performed.
I thought FERNANDO VELASCO would be David and Charlie’s favorite performers. Although they loved FERNANDO VELASCO performance. Especially the Water Tank and my favorite the Straight Jacket. They liked the other performers performances a tad bit better. Which is fine with me because everyone has there own taste. I can’t wait to see FERNANDO VELASCO perform, in the future if he returns to Fort Worth.
YOUNG & STRANGE INNOVATIVE ILLUSIONISTS
What started as a childhood friendship cemented by their love of magic has evolved into one of the most spectacular illusion acts in the world, featured on TV shows around the globe.
Now we are to my favorite performers of the night. I loved how YOUNG & STRANGE got along. The acts YOUNG & STRANGE put on and the way they made us laugh. If you didn’t know better you would think YOUNG & STRANGE were brothers who didn’t like each other. Although that wasn’t the case. I am telling you I have got to see YOUNG & STRANGE again and again.
Charlie and David agreed with me once they saw YOUNG & STRANGE bring a ship on stage. Charlie wanted to stay after to meet YOUNG & STRANGE more than anyone else. I wish I could have fulfilled Charlie’s dream because I wanted to meet YOUNG & STRANGE as well. Charlie liked learning YOUNG & STRANGE began there career of Magicians as childhood friends and would like to get some of his friends to do Magic together.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
