Good morning I wanted to bring you a Harliquinn Heartwarming Novel Caught by the Cowgirl by Tanya Agler I received in exchange for this review. You will find Caught By The Cowgirl is part of Rodeo Stars of Violet Ridge Series which includes the following books Snowbound With The Rode star and Her Temporary Cowboy coming March 26, 2024
Caught by the Cowgirl is everything my heart desires. An Ex-Rode man turned Cowboy. If only they showed us a picture of him, I would have died and went to Heaven. But that wasn’t to be on the cover of this book. Although with the boot and lavender it’s a calming scene that will let you dream up your own Cowboy.
In the meantime, Caught by the Cowgirl is small-town contemporary romance which aims for the heart and never misses. For me Tanya Aglerl s a new Author that I will be following and reading her stories from now on. the books are ones I wouldn’t be embarrssed to share with my friends and family because even though its a love Story its a clean romance.
You will find the characters are witty, emotional, charming and enjoyable you will not be able to put this novel down until you’ve read the last sentence. Which is perfect for me since David just finished building my reading nook outside on the back patio where I can sit and read in peace and quiet no, matter the time of day or night.
I liked all the characters and thought the scenes with the animals added fun along with a bit of heart. Will is a bit rough around the edges and still trying to figure life out after his parents died and retiring from the rodeo circuit. Which makes Will’s vulnerable and relatable. Kelsea is a slightly out of control ball of sunshine who dives right into things. Making them opposites, which makes for a fun romance.
The downfall of this story is there were some things that were unrealistic and some dialogue that felt stilted and not quite insta-love.There could have been a bit more depth and development along with smoother dialogue so that the chemistry felt more together and even with the few downfalls its a must read book.
Seeing how the characters learn that they don’t have to prove themselves worthy by doing things they don’t enjoy makes the book relatable to my life. Because we all know following our dreams is worth it. Success isn’t measured by how much money you make even though a lot of people believe it does.
The sense of community in the story reminded me of the way things was when I was growing up that I wish we could get back to. The town of Violet Ridge acts like a small town feel while being a successful tourist destination which I wish I could visit. If I did you would be welcome to come with me as its past time for a Road Trip.
Violet Ridge has that cozy feeling that I absolutely love in the movies and books Halmark and Harliquinn are famous for. Especially during Christmas which before you ask, no this book didn’t take place during the Holidays although it could have perfectly. I believe this book is for women who enjoy romances I am sure if a man sat down to read the book he would find himself as intrigued as I was with the storyline.
