Can you believe its almost the end of July? School is right around the corner. I will be able to get out and walk more. Would you like to come with me. if you do I will be bringing my Dog Pheobie with me. To make sure I’m prepared Charlie and I will be reading a new book from National Geographic Kids called Can’t Get Enough Dog Stuff
I was lucky enough to receive a physical copy of the Can’t Get Enough Dog Stuff in exchange for this review. Inside this post are my affiliate links if you click on the links and make a purchase I will make a small percentage from the items you purchased. Which allows us to bring you more quality content.
Charlie was so excited to sit down and browse through Can’t Get Enough Dog Stuff. Charlie has finished looking through the book we decided we should have used the book in our Homeschool Studies when we had studied Dogs but Animals as well. Charlie has graduated and that didn’t stop us from using the book and planning a Field Trip to a Pet Store, Veterinary Clinic and a Dog Shelter to volunteer to walk the dogs. Would you like to come with us?
Later on Charlie and I will go to the Library to check out more books and movies featuring dogs. While there Charlie will be able to ask the librarian if she has a copy of Can’t Get Enough Dog Stuff. If they don’t have the book the next time we go Charlie can bring his book to share with her. Then the librarian may decide to purchase a copy for the children’s library especially knowing the book is part of National Geographic Kids series.
The next time my niece Lily and Jason came over Charlie can show them Can’t Get Enough Dog Stuff because they would like to get a dog someday. As long as they live in my sister’s home I don’t think will ever happen. Charlie and I could purchase a Stuffed Dog for them to take care of after reading the book so they would be prepared for a dog and also help with the Cats they have.
Charlie went and got his dog Bear and his Blanket. I got Pheobie and my blanket then we snuggled down onto the couch to read Can’t Get Enough Dog Stuff. Can you believe we spent hours on the couch thumbing through the book sharing what we learned and why we liked the book so much.
Charlie asked me to let you know his favorite part of the book was all the cute photos of the dogs. David liked all the facts the Author included about Dogs. I liked how the book brought us all together allowing us to spend time together as a family. There is even jokes you can tell your friends and family.
Charlie wanted me to let you know if you’re thinking about getting a dog there is a section on preparing for doggies which even, we learned from although we’ve had our fur-babies for years. Did you know you can speak dog? If not, this book shows you how which Charlie thought was funny and has been doing for days.
Be prepared because inside the book is a quiz you can use in Homeschool if your studying animals or pets. My family took the quiz just for fun to see how much we had learned about dogs and yes, we did pass with flying colors. . Before you ask no, this isn’t all you will find in the book which includes a glossary. I didn’t want to share everything in the book with you because I want you to pick up your own copy of Can’t Get Enough Dog Stuff to share with your friends and family.
Can’t Get Enough Dog Stuff would make you think its a hard back book, but it is a paperback book that is so sturdy you will not have to worry about the pages falling out. At times the book reminded Charlie and I of a Comic Book or Graphic Novel. At other times the book reminded Charlie and I of a hard-back story book. Can’t Get Enough Dog Stuff is for middle schoolers and up but if parents wanted to share the photos with smaller children, they would enjoy looking at the dogs. Before you ask what about adults they will enjoy Can’t Get Enough Dog Stuff just as much as our children did. If you don’t believe me just ask David.
