This was the first year my family didn’t make it to Diamond Loch in Haltom City to see the Christmas Lights although we did go to Prairie Lights, Christmas in Texas and to ride The Waco Trolly I wasn’t ready for Christmas to end. I wanted to see more lights and celebrate this special time of year.
Then the other day I was on Facebook, and someone had posted about Campo Verde and all the Christmas decorations and Trains they had up for Christmas. I was afraid everything would have been taken down as we were in January, but they were still up until March.
I would like to ask you to put Campo Verde on your must-see list place to visit beginning in October. But remember as they get closer to Christmas the busier, they get and you might want to make Reservations before going to the restaurant which is in Arlington, Texas.
I was blessed as David was off on Wednesday and said we could go for lunch. As we drove up to the building the colors caught my eye and I liked seeing the men on top of the building. We walked in and I stopped to see the information they had in the Hallway.
We opened the door to walk inside and all I can say is OMG when I grow up, I want the outside of my home to look like this or the Griswald home. We were seated and handed Menus but like a child I couldn’t sit still I wanted to get up and walk around.
The menu seemed to go on and on and one. I had trouble choosing what to order but our waitress recommended number 6 or 7. We all choose the Steak Fajitas, and they were so good that I can’t wait to try Chicken Fajitas when we return, and David is wanting to try the Chicken Fried Steak and Charlie Chicken Fingers.
Once our order was taken, I begin to walk through the restaurant and it’s a lot bigger than I thought. In every corner there were surprises like a Pink Christmas Tree Suzzane would have liked. Or the characters inside the Display cases featuring Popeye and Superman.
Having a full-size bar makes Campo Verde the perfect place to host a Men’s Night out or Girls Night Out. More than that though Campo Verde is Family Friendly with food for everyone from Mexican Food to American Food and a full-size bar.
