Campfire Grill Texas Kitchen

The Mommies Reviews

I mentioned to David the other day I would like to have Chicken and Dumplings. I could make at home if I would look up a recipe. Although during Christmas I didn’t have time to. After Christmas shopping at Walmart on Rufe Snow in Watauga David asked me if I was hungry. I said I could eat a little bit of something. David asked me what type of food I wanted.

I told David it didn’t matter but I would prefer someplace we could sit down and not fast food. David surprised me when he went to Campfire Grill Texas Kitchen which we used to eat at all the time but hadn’t been in a long time. Infact we held C’s Birthday here year before last and everyone loved the food.

David and I walked in and went to the counter to look at the menu and David checked out the special’s board which had Chicken and Dumplings on it. There was 3 sizes small, large and grandee. I asked for the large because I was afraid the small might not have been enough since I was pretty hungry.

Once the bowl arrived I knew I should have asked for a small but this way I should have had leftovers for dinner but the Dumplings was so good David helped me finish them. The Chicken was good and not tough and had the perfect Seasoning on it. The Dumplings was amazing and I would love having just a bowl of them. If you love Chicken and Dumplings like I do then you need to check these out but call them first because there not always on the menue.

David ordered the Hamburger Special with Cheddar Cheese and Fries. The Fries was so good and David said the Hamburger was as well. Which before you ask no, I wasn’t able to get a bit because before I could ask for one David had finished it. David was excited to see they have Cream Soda to drink. I liked the Fruit Punch and Grape Kool-Aid.
