When I was little one of the staple meals in our home was Campbell’s Chicken and Rice. As Suzzane became a teenager Chicken and Rice, Pork Chops on the Grill and Homemade Chicken Fried Steak or Pancakes was the foods she would have lived on.
When David and I got together I used to make Chicken and Rice when Leslie and Travis would stay with us because they liked it better than what there mom made.
The other night I got our Chicken and David said would you make Chicken and Rice for us. I said yes, I would as I had all the ingredients we needed.
Except I didn’t have Rice we would cook I had Success Boil In A Big Rice which worked out perfectly and allowed us to eat sooner. The only downfall was Charlie wouldn’t try the Chicken and Rice which was fine as it left more for David and I.
One Dish Chicken and Rice Bake
INGREDIENTS:
1 can Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (we substitute this Soup for Cream of Chicken Soup (we dump the Soup in and then add a half can of milk and mix the soup and put it in the oven.
To this it out we add 1 c. water
3/4 c. uncooked regular long-grain white rice
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halve
