Building A Realtionship With Homeschool Companies

As you know I will be continuing to Homeschool Charlie this year and the supplies we need can become expensive. So as a Parenting/Homeschool Blogger who conducts Reviews and Giveaways on here. It is imperative that I reach out to clients to see if they would be interested in having the resources they offered reviewed. I thought I would share tips with you that both you and I can use to get the results we would like to have. Which is a YES!! We would love to have our company featured on your blog and your Social Media Sites.

Mommies Reviews Homeschool Resource

Don’t be afraid to reach out.

The first thing I would like to share with you is I know how intimidating it can be to reach out to a large company when you have never reached out to a company before. One thing I can point out is not to let a small following stop you from reaching out. Because companies connect with people on different reasons and you may have something they are looking for where a Bigger Blogger doesn’t.

In a former life I was a Marketing consultant and one thing we was taught is that you will get 10 no’s before you find a company to work with you. So don’t let the no’s get you down and you quite because that one yes, can help you gain even more companies to work with and this step is important for gaining potential sponsors for reviews, giveaways, and conferences.

Begin to network with companies you’d like to work with via social media.

Before you reach out to companies make sure you have all of your Social Sites set up and make sure you are active on them. The main ones I would say are Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram and no, that isn’t all the Social Sites Bloggers us but it is the main ones companies look at when deciding who to work with.

Then I would start to follow the companies you want to work with. Ask questions and share information with them and tag them when you share information about there companies. This way they see you as a reputable source to promote there products. If your using there products in your home take pictures of the items in use and send it to the clients. Sometimes you’ll get replies right away, and other times no reply at all, but they do see it and take notice.

I always tag the companies Facebook page and also there Twitter page and if I have time I visit there Pinterest page and re-pin there products. Then I mention them in a status update from my company Facebook pages as well showing  the company that not only do you enjoy their product, but you are I am willing to promote there company for them. Sponsors love when Bloggers promote them as they are always seeking mutually beneficial relationships with bloggers.

Check the companies website you would like to work with and see if they have an affiliate programin

I am an affiliate for several companies and I try and promote there items at least once a week. Also as a affiliate it allows you to make some extra money from items purchase through your links and clients like working with Bloggers who bring in sales as they know the blogger has readers who are interested in there products.

Write stellar product reviews.

Take the time to become an excellent review writer because I see many reviews but few of them stand out to me. Now, I can give you a tip because I am a Review writer and I know a lot of my reviews may not include the information our readers are looking for. Before you publish your reviews ask your friends and family to read through them and let you know if the review answered all the questions they had about the product. If not add the information they asked for. Add pictures to the review as people love seeing pictures but make sure the pictures are clear and that you can tell what the product is and how to use the product. If someone other than you used the item your reviewing include there thoughts as well.  Always  does the best you can and if you are rushed or haven’t had ample time to use the product don’t write a review as it will show.

I would like to remind you to always be kind and to choose your words before you speak.

I would like to let you know there have been times when I didn’t care for a product I reviewed. No. Before writing the review contact the company and let them know what you didn’t like about it and how they can fix the problem. Because they may not even know there was a problem. They may ask you to do a second review which I would do and if the problem still exist just let the company know you need to let you clients know your concerns. Because you need to be true to yourself and your readers.

Make sure to always be kind and use the proper tone and etiquette to maintain a reputation as a blogger who has integrity because this will speak volumes!

I have a question for you do you have tips you would like to add if so leave me a comment and I will update the post with your tips.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
