Good afternoon, how are you? I wanted to bring you news of a upcoming event when Downtown Cowtown at the Historic Isis Theatre is proud to present Broadway star Major Attaway and his villain themed Magical Cabaret to the stage! For one night only!!

(Fort Worth, TX, October 18, 2021) — Downtown Cowtown at the Isis Theatre is thrilled to announce they will be bringing Major Attaway’s villain themed Magical Cabaret to the stage Friday, October 29th, @ 7:30PM.

The Isis Theatre, which first opened in 1915, has sat vacant in the Fort Worth Stockyards since 1988. Now open as Downtown Cowtown at the Historic Isis Theatre, the newly renovated venue preserves the original Theatre’s rich history and welcomes audiences to discover its unique character and historical eminence. The new Downtown Cowtown will meet the Fort Worth Stockyards with authenticity while providing something special for everyone. 

About Major Attaway

Major Attaway was the first to take over the Tony Award winning role of The Genie in Aladdin from James Monroe Iglehart and currently holds the title of Broadway longest running Genie with over 1500 performances. This show is his first wish after his time in the lamp! Somebody got up on the wrong side of the lamp! Major Attaway presents a Genie variant Cabaret from a slightly evil timeline. Who are the Genies would be favorite vile villain cohorts? Come hear him cover all the answers. He isn’t bad, you just wished that way. But be Careful what you wish for, cause Jafar ain’t got nothing on me!

About Downtown Cowtown at the Isis Theatre

Located in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards, the newly renovated Downtown Cowtown at the Isis Theatre engages guests with a variety of unique, quality entertainment. 

Formerly the New Isis Theatre, the venue originally opened in 1915 as a single screen movie Theatre featuring silent films with live piano accompaniment. After a fire in 1935, the Theatre was rebuilt into one of the largest movie screen Theatres in Fort Worth. The Theatre closed its doors in 1988 and the building sat vacant for 30+ years until its rebirth in 2021.

Now, Downtown Cowtown at the Historic Isis Theatre gives new, vibrant life to the space. This 500-seat multipurpose venue boasts a private event area, a family-friendly bar, movie concessions and a gift shop.
