Charlie has been wanting to play Basketball every day and even though Charlie’s Basketball Goal is at his Grandmother Sherry’s we can’t always get to her home or Grandpa isn’t feeling well so Charlie isn’t able to go over.
I was excited to find out Broadway Park had redone the Park to add several Basket Ball Goals for the kids to play on which are lighted at night. The other day David and I talked Charlie into going to Broadway Park to check out all the updates.
Charlie and David played Basketball but Charlie wasn’t two fond of two of the Basketball Goals which is double. But that is fine as Charlie needs to learn to play on them along with a single net. There were children who came onto the courts while we were there. I was wishing Charlie would play a Pick-Up Game with them but he didn’t.
Now, that Broadway Park has a place for me to walk that is level and easy to navigate I hope Charlie will go back and he will be able to make friends which he need. If your looking for a place to host Homeschool PE Broadway Park is the perfect place.
In the Summer these is a kid’s splash pad we can use to cool down in. I LOVE knowing it’s Sports related so both Charlie and my nephew Jason will love playing here. I just wish it had more for girls to do because even though they like sports there more Princesses which made me miss the Doll House they used to have.
Located just behind the Recreation Center, Broadway Park is a 15.0 acre neighborhood park with a multi-use pavilion, two playground areas, three lighted youth ball fields, concession stand, restrooms, flag football field, youth football fields, picnic areas, tennis court, Basket Ball Courts and a water sprayground.
