Bowlski’s Lakewood Theater

The Mommies Reviews

.Charlie turns 17 on Monday and I have no, clue how he can be 17 but I’ve been looking for something ne new and unusual to do with Charlie’s Birthday. I found Bowlski’s Lakewood Theater which is a Bowling Alley hidden inside a movie theater.

Allowing David to share his love of @bowling with Charlie and my move of #movie with Charlie and his friends. Would you like to come with us to check out this unique venue? They have recently opened, so none of Charlie’s friends would no, about the event allowing them all to create new memories.

Bowlski’s Lakewood Theater is a live concert venue, candy counter, pool lounge, arcade, bar, and bowling alley. When it came to renovating the historical venue, Bowlski’s owners salvaged what they could of their predecessor.

We had to keep the stage,” said co-owner Jennifer Spivey. “The stage seems everyone in Dallas has seen a show on that stage. Even the owners dad’s band used to play here”. I wonder if my parents ever went here. Did you or yours?

Now, the venue regularly hosts live musicians ranging from DJs, to Country artists and singer-songwriters, bands, and more. Bowlski’s also houses Double Dave’s restaurant, a fast-casual eatery that features eclectic Pizza options ranging from Nashville Chicken to Thanksgiving and Street Taco Pizzas, as well as innumerable finger foods. They even have a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich for David and Charlie.

As for its bowling alley, visitors can take a spin at one of the venue’s 10 steampunk lanes. If bowling doesn’t abide, visitors can try their hand at the venue’s arcade bar, golf simulator suites, or aforementioned billiards

At Bowlski’s there is 10 vintage (classic) Brunswick A2 pinsetters, synthetic lanes, and electronic scoring.  If you’ve seen the Big Lebowski, a movie David and Charlie like then you’ve seen our setup here at Bowlski’s.  Doesn’t get much better than this. Or does it?

The owner calls the venue steampunk and there machines are exposed so you can see the amazing mechanical design of the bowling machines. Live bands play above the bowling machines and we have a DJ every Friday night.  It is the most unique bowling and entertainment venue in Dallas. Come and jam  — and bowl.

Up to 10 bowlers per lane.  Pricing is per hour per person. 21 and up after 9:00pm unless accompanied by an adult.

Bowling Rates*:
