Welcome to the Blogging from A to Z APril Challenge Letter S. The letter S could be for Snakes, Six Flags, Spaghetti, Sneakers, Sun and so much more. As Charlie just couldn’t stop thinking of things he likes to do that begins with the letter S. So Charlie wanted me to let you know he says Snakes as he loves them and thinks it would be fun to have one for a pet. And no, way no how is that happening. We are not having Snakes anywhere around me. Though David is like Charlie and says bring them on.
This morning I would like to share a short story with you about Leslie and myself when we had our home. I was working on the computer and needed her help and Leslie had been in the backyard playing with Charlie and her friend Julie. When I asked Les to show me something on the computer. So Les comes inside with a snake in her hand to be fair Les asked me not to turn around and for Julie to come get the Snake before I seen it. Once I knew what she had in her hands I almost had a heart attack. If my Uncle Chuck would have been visiting he defiantly would have had a Heart Attack as he is more scared of snakes than I am if that is even possible. In fact neither of us would even go into the Snake House at the Zoo because a snack might get lose.
Charlie, David and Leslie can spend hours inside the Snake House at the zoo. and love visiting Pet Stores and checking out the snakes. Charlie likes asking me to come and look at them and I refuse. Last week we were at a event and where they had snakes at and I wouldn’t walk down the aisle they was on. Charlie and David thought that was so funny although it wasn’t. They shouldn’t have had snakes at the event because it could have scared the beejeebies out of people.
Since Charlie thought of so many things he likes that starts with the Letter S I thought I would give you the Top 5 and you can let me know which ones you like and why.
- The Sun because when it is out Charlie says he can be outside and play and play and play. And I can hear myself think. So we need the Sun all the time. Unlike the rain we are getting today as it puts Charlie underfoot. But that is OK as I would miss him if he wasn’t her.
- Snakes yes, Snakes for him and David but not for me no how, no way. Ever but with Leslie going to Veterinarian school I am sure there will be many snakes in our future.
- Six Flags as it is one of our favorite Amusement Parks of all time. And I have been going since I was a child. And I took Charlie last year and he loved it just a much as I do. And David also enjoys it a lot.
- Spaghetti as this is Charlie’s favorite food. And both Leslie and my brothers as well. And my mom always made it for my brothers birthday. And when we make it Charlie eats it for breakfast, lunch and many snacks throughout the day. And will eat it for days at a time. And expects me to do the same and being his mom I do.
- Slides as Charlie loves Slides of all kinds and would live in the park if he could. And I was the same way as a child. And swings and the higher he goes the better he likes it. So watch out world as one day you may see Charlie flying overhead
Bonus is shoes as Charlie loves shoes and shopping for them and the more shoes he has the happier he is. Charlie should be a girl because he loves to shop for shoes and clothes. Just like his sister Suzzane as she couldn’t pass a store without looking in the shoe department. So even though Suzzane isn’t here I still have her in a way when shopping with Charlie for shoes. As Charlie will give up toys for shoes when ever possible.
