Well when it comes to boys and the letter R it should include running, rocks and rats. YES!, , you heard me right RATS!! Because when Charlie was only 2 years old I had laid down on my bed as my head was hurting and Charlie was playing in our backyard. When I heard him walk into my room and say mommy I brought you something and it was a “DEAD RAT”!! Which Charlie proceeded to put it on my bed. Let me tell you I am afraid of rats both dead and alive. I “FREAKED” out and when I say “FREAKED OUT” I mean “FREAKED OUT”!! I locked myself in the bathroom and called David at work and told him to make Charlie take it back outside.
So this morning I I asked Charlie what he liked that starts with the letter R he said running and he gets this from his dad who used to run track in school and also his sister Suzzane and Leslie. Charlie does run lot when we are at Davids mom or at the park and if truth be none I can’t catch him. As we drive home and Charlie will run along beside the car to see who gets home fast. I have my own personal Forest Gump. I think we should get Charlie into track although David thinks Charlie is to young. So we shall see what happens as I want to look into track for Charlie as I think it would be good for Charlie.
Charlie says Rats mom I need one or a Hamster or Gerbil and Charlie has lost his mind if he thinks he is getting one for a pet ever!!! Although if truth be none we had Hamsters as kids and yes, I held them. But they are too much like rats and I do not even want Charlie to have one of them. Though if I know Charlie and David the way I think I do David might just get Charlie one. If David does he better have a place outside to keep it. Because as a child ours got outside and it took us forever to find them andnd I am not doing that again. Ever!! No, way no how!!
I asked David what he liked that starts with the letter R and he said car racing, Motorcycle Racing and so one. Which I like car racing as well and so does Charlie. One day we need to take Charlie to the car races as I used to take Suzzane and I went as a child as well and loved it. which with as much as Charlie loves cars he would love car racing as well. Especially when they have wrecks. In fact I can see Charlie telling the drivers how to drive.
If you asked me, my dad or Suzzane what we like that starts with the letter r we would say reading and more reading. Because both my dad and I read all the time and would be lost without a book at in hands. And I take a book with me everywhere which drives Charlie and David up the wall. Also I always have a stack of books beside my bed waiting to be read.
