As a Blogger sometimes we begin projects which we don’t get completed or we write out post and they end up in drafts. Then later on you find these post and wonder why they weren’t published. Which is what happened with r Blogging from A to Z APRIL 2016 Challenge Letter P.
I thought I would go ahead and share this post with you because I can say completed the challenge. No, matter how long the post to become published. I did finish the challenge which I feel good about because I was able to complete a challenge I had started.
Blogging from A to Z APRIL 2016 Challenge Letter P was something I couldn’t wait to share with you because the letter P is one of Charlies favorite letters.
Can you guess what Charlie likes to do which begins with the letter “P”?Or should I tell you? Its going to the PARK close to our home. Or any park we can find. From good old fashioned parks with swings and slides to water parks.
Bike parks and also Skateboard Parks because Charlie wants to learn how to ride a Skateboard. Charlie even says Dog Parks because Charlie likes going and seeing which dogs are at the park.
My family is BLESSED because in our neighborhood there are 2 Parks a big one and a small one. Each park has different things for Charlie and I to do. Pecan Park has a Walking Trail and we can ride bikes on the trail.
I like riding our bikes here because its a lot safer than Charlie riding his bike in the street. On the other side of the Fence are horses Charlie likes to visit. Sometimes we even see Donkeys and Ginny’s in the park.
These parks are close enough that Charlie and I can walk to both of them. In the second park they have a Children’s Church service and in the Summer they host a Vacation Bible school Charlie attends.
I’m hopping Charlie will be able to attend a Summer camp through these Churches. I went to 2 Camps as a child and I loved attending and I think Charlie would as well. I will miss Charlie a lot if he goes away to a camp for a week.
I asked David what he liked that begins with the Letter P and he said Pork Chops. If Leslie were here she would agree with both David and Charlie because she likes Pork Chops as much as they do.
Suzzane loved Pork Chops cooked on the Grill and for her 16th Birthday my dad bought Suzzane Pork Chops, a Grill and Charcoal. Then he cooked dinner for us.
I’m glad my dad did because right after that Suzzane was killed. Her Birthday dinner was the last dinner my dad was able to have with Suzzane. I just wish I still had the Grill he purchased for her because then I would have a part of Suzzane.
If you ask me what my favorite item is that starts with the Letter P I would have to say PIE. I love Apple Pie and Chocolate Whipped Cream Pie and I think David should make me a Pie.
David likes Pecan Pie and so did Suzzane and she liked Pumpkin. As for Charlie he doesn’t care for Pie of any kind. He is one goofy kid.
Here is my favorite recipe for Chocolate Pie. If you make this pie let me know and if you can please send me a piece. I haven’t had a slice since my mother passed away. She was the last person to make a pie for me which I can still taste.
