This morning, I would like to share a new Game which you will find inside our Easter Gift Guide 2023: Blackbeard’s Treasure Hunt – A Preschool Color Matching Game for Kids and Families Ages 4 and Up which I received in exchange for this review and a spot in our Easter Gift Guide.
My niece Daisy Birthday is this month and Charlie and I had thought of giving her this game to play with her brother’s and sisters with. Then we thought of leaving it at Granny Sherry’s so all the kids could play it when they were visiting. But Charlie and I decided to open the treasure chest up first.
Charlie and I loved all the gold coins inside the treasure chest. I love how you have to race to unlock Blackbeard’s treasure keeping everyone on their toes leading to lots of laughter. You flip over cards with different colors on it allowing children to learn there colors if they didn’t know them. I like that there is dice which can be used in other games making playtime last longer.
There is a key you use to open your treasure chest which all the kids loved opening and shutting. You can purchase extra trinkets to the treasure chest for the kids to find or even snacks. They say this game is for children 4 and up which is true because Charlie is a teen and he enjoyed playing just as much as I did.
Blackbeard’s Treasure Hunt will be a perfect addition to our Homeschool Studies when we study Pirates or when #HomeschoolwithBoardGames as we can invite children of all ages over and host Board Game Olympics. Would you like to join us that night? Charlie said it would also be fun to play when watching movies about Pirates and Hidden Treasures.
For me personally I could see using Blackbeard’s Treasure Hunt in the Summer when going on a Field Trip to the Beach and brining the treasure chest along to hunt for buried treasure in the sand. Would you like to come with us? I can even make fun snacks for us based on buried treasure and we can go swimming if its warm enough.
