Big Orange Pumpkin Farm at Preston Trail Farms
Once again, North Texas residents are looking forward to cooler aweather and excitedly planning their trips to The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm at Preston Trail Farms. Little did we know when we began our Dallas-area zpumpkin farm in 1997, that it would become an annual destination for thousands of North Texas and Oklahoma residents.
Over the last year, thousands of visitors and school and church groups have come to Preston Trail Farms.
From September 26th through November 25th, Pumpkin Farm will offer visitors a chance to experience blossoming small green pumpkins right on the vine in our pumpkin patch, hayrides, a 6-foot hay maze, and a petting farm for a taste of the country life. Preston Trail Farms is open year-round to provide feed and hardware, a Café and a gift shop to serve the local community and those who want a “life on the farm” experience. Visitors enjoy the petting farm throughout the year as well.
Set along the historic Shawnee Trail, this year-round destination farm offers access to fresh local seasonal produce and an escape to a simpler and more sustainable lifestyle. We have been blessed by the many great fall seasons that Dallas-area families have joined us in our pumpkin patch. It is definitely our FAMILY business. We truly enjoy our Pumpkin Farm and sharing it with others.
Cost: Admission is $10 per person; free for children 2 and younger. Additional cost for Pumpkins. Saturday/Sunday admission includes farm train; Monday–Friday admission includes one small Pumpkin from the Patch.

During the Pumpkin farm, hardware/feed store is open from 8am–6pm daily and the Burger Fixins cafe is open 8am–3pm Tuesday–Sunday. Petting farm open year-round.
