The Big C Hit’s My Family Again!! As most of you know my mother passed away from Cancer. Then we also faced it with Davids dad as he had Cancer on his Kidney but the doctor was able to catch it and he hasn’t had any other issues so far.
Then David’s mom had a scare as they found Cancer on her face. But once again the doctor was able to remove it with out any problems and she hasn’t had any other issues.
So we thought we was all done with Cancer and no, one else was going to end up with it. And we was going to be able to live happily ever after. But we all know that isn’t what usually happens.
So today I am back to let you know the BIG C has happened again and our family could use all the Prayers we can get. So this morning I would like to let you know my Son in Law Toby had Surgery on Friday morning for Testicular Cancer.
Now, he came through it fine and the doctor doesn’t think there will be a problem but he will not know for sure for 2 weeks when he will recheck to make sure it hasn’t traveled into his Lymph Nodes.
So this has totally put Les and Toby’s life on hold as Toby was supposed to leave for 29 Psalms this week and then he would return to Fort Hood and wait to for his orders to leave for Iraq.
But once again God had other plans for them and in a way this is a wonderful as he will be home for the next 6 months which means he will be here when the baby arrives. As well as not be gone the first 9 months of the babies life.
So once again one door closed but another opened up as this will allow both Les and Toby another year together and to be parents to the new baby together.
So I am asking everyone to Pray for Toby that his Cancer hasn’t spread and that it doesn’t cause stress on Les and cause her to go into labor early. And that they are able to live a long and happy life together.
