It seems like forever since I sat down to type anything at all as my computer has been in the shop. Which didn’t stop me the past two weeks have been pretty busy. Once I finally slowed down and thought I would get back to blogging “BAM” my computer had to go back into the shop, and the one I am on is a loner. It is the most horrible computer I have had to work on in a long time. But I had so much to share with everyone that I decided to go ahead and write some of it down before I forgot what all I wanted to share with you all.
This weekend is Desa’s Debut at the Haltom City Art Show off Bradway in the old Haltom City Library. I wish you all could have been there Desra did a fantastic job setting up her booth. I loved being able to stand back and look at all the paintings, each one made me think of something or something else she could paint. Or a place that that picture belonged. If you haven’t seen or heard of Desra’s you can find her business on Facebook under Artfully Happy.
Tthe “GOOD NEWS,” you all will get a chance to see Desra’s custom paintings in December at the Art Show in Haltom City as this is the next time it happens. Because Desra is setting up at Christmas on Broadway. I can’t wait to see what she brings to that show as she is busy painting Christmas scenes as we speak. Along with all the pretty flowers, she paints I bet we see a Poinsettia or two. As for me, I would like to see a Santa or two and children playing in the snow.

Since Desra has decided to join all of these shows another friend of mine Kerry Fiddler and her husband John are also going to join these last two Art Shows. Another piece of news is Desra will be painting a picture for Just Between Kids Consignment Sale for them to set up at the sales they host. I can not wait to see what Desra designs. As I know, this painting will be so much fun and remind us all of our childhood.
