Bathing Suit Troubles? Here’s How to Boost Your Confidence and Feel Great

The Mommies Reviews

(June 1, 2023) – With Summer here in some parts of the Country or just around the corner in others, there’s no better time to start working on your confidence and body goals. If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed and unsure, don’t worry – Beth Linder-Moss has you covered on her weekly podcast Get Ready for Summer Podcast.

“First off, let’s address the common misconception that you should just avoid Swimming altogether if you’re not feeling confident about your body,” Beth told her listeners. “This is not the answer! Instead, let’s focus on creating a positive and achievable mindset. By setting realistic goals and committing to making small, gradual changes, you can start feeling confident and get ready to jump into that pool or Ocean.”

Beth also believes everyone nervous about their appearance and how to make it better should  remember, “everyone has different goals, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to fitness and nutrition.” By targeting overall health and well-being, rather than just one specific body part, you’ll be set up for long-term success.

So, how do you get started? Here are a few tips:

  • Make a plan: Start by setting achievable goals for yourself. Whether you want to improve your nutrition, work on your fitness, or both, create a plan that you can stick to.
  • Take it slow: Don’t try to do everything at once. Focus on making small, sustainable changes that you can build on over time. Whether it’s cutting out Sugary drinks or going for a walk after dinner, every little bit helps.
  • Drink plenty of water: Aim to drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water each day. This will help keep you hydrated and feeling your best.
  • Be patient: Remember, change doesn’t happen overnight. Stick with your plan, and celebrate your progress along the way.

By following these tips and staying committed to one’s goals, anyone can feel great and confident in their own skin. “So go ahead, put on that bathing suit, and enjoy your Summer to the fullest,” Beth coached!
