Back to School Gift Guide: A Calendar for Book Lovers

The Mommies Reviews

I wanted to share addition to our Back to School Gift Guide: A Calendar for Book Lovers is a Page A Day Calendar a division of Workman Calendars from Hatchett Publishing I received in exchange for a review and spot in the Gift Guide.

Children all over the world will be returning to school soon and you may be looking for a Gift for the Teachers and Staff in your children’s school and you shouldn’t forget the librarian I have the perfect gift for them or any one who loves books.

Can you guess what the Gift is? No? Well, its A Calendar for Book Lovers and let me tell you I want to keep this for myself to hang over the bookshelves in my living room where my books are kept. Or on my desk so I can keep up with the appointments I have or my family has.

The pictures are so cute I can’t wait until the end of the year to take the calendar apart to hang up throughout my home showcasing books in all kinds of places including a book trailer which I wish I was lucky enough to own. How about you?

The calendar takes us to Havana, Cuba to a University library in Dublin, Ireland or the streets of Douai, France allowing us to travel the world without leaving home. If Charlie were still attending Homeschool full time we could have used the calendar in our History and Geography Class.

The illustrations are so colorful and the calendar leaves enough room on each day to add the appointments we have to do that day. I like in the corner how they include other months for us to glance back on. At the bottom of the page is a quote for us to share with our friends and family.
