Back To School 23: Arctic Animals Sound Book

The Mommies Reviews

With school resuming for most children our Back-To- School Gift Guide 23 is closing on Friday. Before we do though I would like to share a Childrens book with you. Arctic Animals Sound Books Usborne Sound Books By: Sam Taplin Illustrated by Federica Iossa which I received a copy of in exchange for this review.

Even though David is grown. Charlie is 16 they like pushing buttons and hearing noises from toys and books we find in the store. Which is why I am excited to share Arctic Animals Sound Books Usborne Sound Books I knew they would enjoy looking at the animals and driving me up a wall making the animals? talk.

Which was fine because Charlie can listen to the animals and then out like them in his Homeschool Drama Class. The book is perfect for Charlie to read to the students he will be reading to this year. The book is for younger teens, but adults and children will enjoy looking at the illustrations of animals.

I loved the cover of the book in the pretty blues with animals all over the cover. Including a Polar Bear I would like to bring home. Charlie liked the Whale. David liked the snowflakes that are cut out of the book. If Suzzane was here, she would have liked the Deer and no, it wasn’t a Reindeer like Charlie asked. Boys what can I say. LOL

We learned about the Artic Ocean in the book which Charlie will be studying this year and we will be able to use the book in our class. We learned about Puffins and Orcas which Charlie can research for class when we study animals. Look at the White animals including a Snowy Owl my om would have liked and a Snow Fox that has pretty eyes.

Come earn about a Narwhal. there was a Musk Ox I\d never heard of but will have Charlie study this year. book is short enough little children will not get bored but there is enough to keep older children fascinated for a while. The sounds are so realistic allowing children to get to hear animals they might not ever have seen or heard in real life.

Meet the Author: Sam Taplin

Sam Taplin grew up in a beautiful valley in Yorkshire, where he dreamed of being a writer, and after three years reading other people’s books at university he started writing his own for Usborne. He’s been doing it ever since. When he’s not writing about lonely Rabbits or inquisitive Bears, he likes doing card tricks, writing songs and playing long games of chess by the fire.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
