Did you know September is #BetterBreakfastMonth? What could be better for breakfast than a container of Ayo Almond Yogurt in Strawberry Charlie says. Which is what he asked for for snacks and breakfast this week. I went to the Ice Box to show David the different flavors and the Strawberry was missing because Charlie had put it in his own Ice Box upstairs so no, one would eat it.
Although, this morning my head was hurting. I needed a quick breakfast so I could take some meds. I went upstairs and opened the Strawberry Yogurt up to try. As soon as I took a bite and could taste the Strawberries and how smooth the Yogurt was I knew both Charlie and David would like this a lot.
I left half the container for David and Charlie to try. But as soon as Charlie tasted this he kept on eating until the container was empty. Charlie said its okay because David can try one of the other flavors unless he decides to eat them first.
Boys will be boys and when there eating a healthy breakfast I don’t care of there is any left for anyone else. I can pick more up when we go Grocery Shopping this week. Charlie did let me know I would need to buy several containers as he loved the Strawberry and may not want to share.
David’s dad hasn’t been feeling to well this week so Charlie and David tried the Peach to see how it tasted. So they could purchase a container or two for David Sr. who loves Peaches and hasn’t been wanting to eat anything. Charlie said after tasting it he is sure David’s dad will eat all we bring him and want more.
David agreed with Charlie. I saw David looking at the Sugar content and I asked him what he was doing. David said he was checking to see if his mom would be able to have these on her Diabetic Diet. With only 11 grahams of Sugar she will be able to as well.
That evening before Charlie went to bed he went and got the Blueberry Yogurt which he also knew his grandfather would enjoy to try. Charlie said this one is so creamy and the taste of the Blueberry flavor pops. Charlie said he knows this one will become his and his grandfather’s favorite.
Charlie did let David try out this container and David said it was good. But his favorite was Peach which I figured would be. David even asked me if I thought we could use the Peach Yogurt in a Pie or Cookie. Which I can’t wait to see what Charlie and David come up with in Charlie’s Homeschool Home Economics Cooking Class.
I would like to remind you if your Allergic to Nuts or Almonds then you will not want to try this Yogurt out as it contains Almonds. Always keep this refrigerated which will make it hard to pack in a child’s lunch. But perfect for a Office Workspace that has a Ice Box.
The last container we received was Vanilla Almondmilk which I didn’t think David and Charlie would like because its plan and doesn’t have a flavor. But they both liked this a lot and even let me know what different flavors they could add to dress up the flavor.
I could see using this when creating a Pie or on Marinading meats in. Charlie said the Almondmilk would be healthier for me since I’m on a diet. I agreed with Charlie and have made this a part of my daily meal not only for breakfast but as a snack.
Ayo Almond Yogurt is made using Organic Ingredients, Non Dairy & Vega, Gluten Free which is good for Charlie and Sherry’s stomach issues. Soy Free and Non GMO which didn’t keep Charlie or David from trying out all of these Yogurts. Grown on 4th generation family farms in sunny Central California.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
