Welcome to today ‘post for the #AtoZ Blogging Challenge Letter J. I thought I would share Jell-O Recipes with you. When I was growing up Jell-O was a staple in our home. Was Jell-O in your home as well?
The Jell-O recipes I thought you might want to check out can be found on a website called Tipnut. If you make any of the recipes leave me a comment let me know which recipe you prepared. Did you like the recipe and would you make it again?
I would like to ask you a questions. As a child what was your favorite flavor of Jell-O? Has your favorite flavor changed? My favorite flavor of Jell-O is Grape as a child and its the same now that I’ve grown up.
With our Jell-O I thought we might want a drink and the perfect drink might be a Jell-O Shot. Before you ask if I’ve ever had a Jello-O shots and the answer is no. But Jello-O Shots are something I’ve wanted to try. Have you tried Jello-O Shots? If so what did you think of the drink and why?
Since I woke up this morning the song Leaving On A Jet Plan by John Denver has been stuck in my head. The Authors name has a J in it so I thought I would try and get the song out of my head by sharing the music with you. I have a question for you. Have you heard of the song before? Or the Author John Denver? If so did you like the song or not? How about the Author John Denver?
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
I did not grow up with Jello on the house since I grew up in Paris, France so when we came to visit my grandparents in the US it was a special treat! I loved Cherry and Grape the best. It’s not something we have in our house now either, but some of those recipes look really fun! As for John Denver, that’s one of my favorite songs. I learned it in summer camp and it always makes me cry 🙁 Happy Friday!
It makes me cry as well. Have a wonderful day.
Hello, Happy Tuesday and I am glad you liked the song I shared with everyone. As for Paris, France I am so jealous as I would like to visit there one day. As for Grape and Cherry I prefer Grape.
They looks awesome- so colourful and perfect for summer!
Plus it is almost Summer again so we will have to try it out.
Thank you, and they are perfect for Summer.
I love all of the above. My real first name is Judy, my favorite holiday place is Jasper, and I was born in July. Thank you for your fun post.
I love hearing about your J’s and I am glad you liked the ones I shared with you.
It’s known as “jelly” here in Australia 😉 My son loves the stuff. I’ll have to make some rainbow cups for him soon.
Thanks for visiting my blog 🙂
Jelly never heard of it referred to it that way. As for Rainbow Jelly I never heard of it so I will have to look it up.
Colourful and sweet post on J 🙂 And musical too. Perfect combination!
Thank you as I tried to pair things that would go well together.
Thanks for visiting my blog earlier. Much appreciated!

Your welcome.
Hi; thanks for visiting my blog and your prayers for Koda; always appreciated. We did have a lot of jello when I was growing up, in a variety of ways, plain, sometimes with fruit mixed in, holiday salads. Always delicious! I liked the recipes; will have to check them out sometime. Funny, I can’t remember the last time i had jello now, LOL.
Enjoy the rest of the challenge!
betty
Since you can’t remember when it seems like it might be time to have some Jello now.
My favorite jello flavor as a child was orange. It is still my favorite. Now I mix it with whipped cream! I like the large jello cubes served at restaurant buffets but those are usually cherry and lime. At the supermarkets in Green Bay, WI., they have very large cubes of lemon and lime jello during home football games!
In our restaurants they are the sames. But I like the big cubes as well. As for a favorite flavor I don’t have one I just like Grape, Orange once in a while. Cherry not to often.
I have a confession. I’ve always hated jello! Yes, it was a staple growing up. I never liked it, though. Was always a pudding girl, myself. 😀
I also like Pudding but also Jello as it is so easy to make.
No jello in Sweden when I grew up there. I only eat it when I’m sick.
I am so sorry you didn’t have Jello in Sweden and that you only eat it when your sick. As it is good anytime.
No, Lemon or Lime for me either. But I like the huge cubes and wish I knew who to make them at home.
