Charlie, David and I were able to visit Artisan Theater once to watch a children’s play Pinky and Blue. Pinky and Blue were the first play we had attended as a family and all three of us enjoyed it. I want to take Charlie back to Artisan Theater to see more children’s musicals as I know it would be something Charlie would enjoy. With two new Christmas shows happening now is the perfect time to visit.
Scrooge is one of the Holiday plays I would like to take our family to watch. I know all three of us would enjoy this new Holiday classic and seeing it on the stage. If we can attend, I think I will ask Davids’s mom if she would like to go with us. As she enjoys plays and doesn’t get to attend them
Who’s in the cast:
The story of a stingy, bitter old man named Ebenezer Scrooge, transformed into gentler, kindlier person after visits by the ghost of his former partner, and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. Renowned writer-composer-lyricist Leslie Bricusse adapted the classic Charles Dickens tale, A Christmas Carol, into the hit screen musical SCROOGE! A delightful musical that is sure to get your family into the holiday
Buddy, a young orphan mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised unaware that he is a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity.
Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list, and his stepbrother doesn’t even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. Based on the beloved holiday film, this hilarious fish-out-of-water comedy is one you won’t want to miss!
I really would like to watch Elf, and as I read through the description to this play, I think Charlie would also enjoy the storyline a lot. I could even see some of Charlie’s friends enjoying this play. We may purchase tickets and give them to Charlie’s friends as there Christmas Presents.

I have a question for you have you been to Artisan Theater? If so which play, did you see and what did you think of it and why?
Thank you,
Glenda, Cates
