My DOGGIES would like to let you know that April 28th is National Pet Parents Day #NationalPetParentsDay. I don’t know about you but our DIGGIES aren’t just animals they are our children. How to Celebrate National Pet Parents Day
1: Create a pet photoshoot because we all know Pets are part of the family, so grab a camera and your best pal, find a good backdrop, and capture moments you never want to forget. Remember for the photos you can use props, costumes, or let your pet’s personality shine in their natural condition. For Charlie’s graduation I can’t wait to take Charlie’s and Bears pictures in a Cap & Gown. I just hope I can find one that will fit Bear. Would you like to help me shop for the cap & gown.
2: Treat your pet to a special day today and plan out a day centered around your pet’s favorite activities. Whether it is a long walk in the park, a catnip party, or a trip to the pet store for a new toy, your pet will appreciate all the extra attention. I plan on taking my Puppy Pheobie for either Doggie Ice Cream or a Snow Cone and taking them to the Park so she can play. Would you like to come with us?
3: Make homemade pet treats is another way to celebrate National Pet Parents Day which Charlie can do in his Homeschool Cooking Class. Should Charlie make dog biscuits or cat nip toys for my sister’s Cats? Would you like to join us and create treats for your babies?
4: Honor your pet by making a donation to a local animal shelter because your animal friend is lucky to have you but many pets aren’t so fortunate. Giving to a shelter helps to provide these less fortunate animals with care and a chance at finding a loving home. If you have time volunteer at the shelter today as well.
5: Start a pet blog or social media account if you enjoy taking pictures and documenting your pet’s life, why not start a blog or social media account dedicated to them?
