Spring has arrived thank the LORD and it’s time to get outside! National Picnic Day has arrived on April 23rd giving us the perfect opportunity to celebrate National Picnic Day #PicnicDay and I hate to admit it but I can’t remember the last time we had a Picnic what about you? Since were purchasing Pizza for dinner this evening I think we will eat outside on our back patio until Charlie wants to go to the Park this evening and we can eat there. Would you like to join us?
Remember if your not sure about having a Picnic today that baskets and blankets make everything taste better. Whether it’s a nighttime concert at , or simply brunch at your local park, eating outdoors is fun and brings friends and families together. If your looking for ideas for date-night picnics work for a romantic dinner, or a new adventure to share with your family a picnic can be an all-out family or friends reunion.
Picnics fit for any budget because you can go extravagant, or stop at simple sandwiches. Sometimes the food’s secondary to your surroundings. Find the perfect combination and have fun! Just don’t forget the camera to take pictures of your picnic and leave the phone at home because its more fun to talk to people that burying your nose into a phone.
NATIONAL PICNIC DAY ACTIVITIES
- Today is the day to shop for the gingham tablecloth, wicker baskets, and the handy plastic silverware. That way, when you’re in the picnicking mood, your ready to go!
- To set your Picnic apart from other picnics you’ve had in the past head to a real campsite instead of your local neighborhood park and bake a gourmet four-course meal instead of your regular PB&J sandwiches!
WHY PEOPLE LOVE NATIONAL PICNIC DAY
- Any activity that allows us to hang with our friends and loved ones is something worth doing which is why picnics are so great!
- It’s easy to eat lunch at your desk every single day without fail. But picnics remind us that lunch is an exciting meal we shouldn’t be taking for granted. Get away from your desk and give lunch the attention it deserves!
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
