I thought I would ask you a question this morning. Did you know April 13th is National Make Lunch Count Day #NationalMakeLunchCount? I don’t know about you but more days than not I skip lunch and even breakfast.
There is no, way I will ever lose the #weight I want to lose. It’s time to take my life back and to get on track with a small breakfast and lunch. With no, snacking and once dinner is off no, more food to the next day.
For Breakfast and lunch I will be taking my Slimfast Shakes and having a small snack so I don’t end up with a headache. I still may not lose the weight I need to lose but hopefully I will began to feel better and gai energy if nothing else. Would you help me celebrate National Make Lunch Count Day?
Remember on National Make Lunch Count Day, which falls on April 13th, let’s not skip lunch. Whether you have a Salad, a Sandwich, or a Smoothie, make sure you get that fuel boost. Whatever it takes. Brunch gets the glamour, but let’s be honest, it’s not Easter every day.
Did you know that’s where National Make Lunch Count Day comes in. Somewhere between breakfast, currently branded as the day’s “most important” meal, and dinner, the end-of-the-day repast (that’s right, we used the word “repast”), lies the oft-maligned lunch.
You know that meal you’re eating at your desk right now. If you’re lucky. Sometimes it’s 3 pm before office workers realize they’ve missed lunch Remember, there’s still a whole half-day left giving you plenty of time for a small lunch.

- Did you know lunch is the meal most often eaten away from home? As such, we’re usually around a different crowd of people. One way we can really make our lunches count is by finding ways to enjoy lunch with those around us.
- We’ve all had mornings where we’re just too rushed to eat before taking off. If it weren’t for our lunch breaks, there’s no way we’d make it through those days. Lunch can serve as a much-needed afternoon pick-me-up when there’s just no time for breakfast.
- You’d have a hard time finding a worker who doesn’t look forward to their lunch break! After breaking out of those morning blues, lunch can serve as a much-needed hiatus from the day that’ll help carry us through to the end.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
