Good morning, with Charlie taking Homeschool Cooking this year. I wanted to share a new children’s cookbook I received in exchange for this review. Annabell Karmel my first Cookbook Fun, simple recipes al kids will love illustrated by Alex Willmore. I can’t wait to go grocery shopping to pick up some of the ingredients so Charlie and I can dive into the cookbook. Would you like to come with us?
I\ve been working on Lesson Plans for this week and in our Homeschool Cooking Class Charlie will be reading Annabell Karmel my first Cookbook which will count for Charlie’s 30 minutes of reading this week. As we go through the book Charlie, and I will be preparing menu plans for the week. I can’t wait to see what Charlie chooses to prepare. Would you like to join us for dinner?
With Charlie’s stomach bothering him when he eats Cheese or Milk the Authors notes on Veggie and Vegan will allow us to change our diet to things that may be easier on Charlie’s stomach. Charlie and I had fun reading the glossary and seeing what is inside the book and looking at the amazing photographs.
The Author has even included a not to adults which will count as y reading for the day and help me be prepared to help Charlie in his cooking class. I love how the author has created a list of ways children can help in the kitchen which I printed out. When my niece Lily and Jason visit, they can look through the list to see how they can help Charlie and I in the kitchen.
She has included a list of cooking utensils we will need which will also prepare Charlie for when he moves out. Would you like to go shopping with me for the cooking supplies we need? Charlie and I aren’t ones who eat breakfast, but we do brunch sometimes. Charlie found a recipe for Scrambled Eggs with Ham and Cheese which Charlie can’t wait to make for him and his dad.
Then we move onto main meals which was Charlie and David’s favorite section as they are meat and potato guys. I can’t wait to get Charlie to make the Mini Beef Burgers for me. Would you like to join us for dinner? Or we can have Creamy Chicken Soup on these cool FFall evenings we have coming.
Then there is Supper Snacks which I can’t wait to try as I love snacks and could live on them. How about you? In here Charlie and I found Monster Pizzas which we plan on serving at our Homeschool Halloween Party. I think I will see if Lily and Jason would like to join us to make the Pizzas. Would you like to come as well?
Last but not least is Sweet and Desserts and if you know me then you know this is my downfall and why I can’t lose the weight I need to lose. I know Charlie will want to try the Oreo Brownies but if you ask me, I prefer Walnut Brownies. How about you? If Lily and Jason come to our Halloween Party, we can make Teddy Bear Cupcakes. Don’t they sound so good?
The author even included Gingerbread Friends my dad’s favorite. I just wish he was here to try this recipe with us as well as Suzzane as I used to make Gingerbread Cookies for her to take to school to share with her friends. Once you finish browsing the cookbook make sure you check out Annabel Karmel’s No. 1 rated App.
