“An Angel-Guided My Way Through Half Price Books”

The Mommies Reviews

Charlie and I were talking, and Charlie let me know he needed a new book to read next week. We discussed going to a Book Store yesterday. I asked Charlie if he wanted a regular bookstore or Half Priced Books. Charlie let me know            Half Priced Books would be perfect because we would be able to purchase more books.

The books we purchase at Half Price Books are cheaper than books we purchase at regular bookstore, including Walmart. Before I tell you about our visit, I would like to let you know “An Angel-Guided My Way Through Half Price Books”.

Once David got home from work I mentioned Charlie, and I wanted to go to Half Price Books. David said it would be fine. We all went out to the car and once in the car, David asked me if we were going to the Half Price Books we always go to or another location. I said the one on Denton Highway we most go to is fine.

Once we arrived, we all went inside and began to look around. I’m telling you Suzzane was leading us because I started down an aisle. As I looked at the shelves it was full of books written by Debbie Macomber, and there was a couple book I hadn’t read. I grabbed A Walk Along the Beach and headed to find David and Charlie

A Walk Along the Beach

Charlie and David were in the section of books which contains Wrestling Books. I sat on the floor with Charlie, and we picked out several books Charlie found interesting. Then we narrowed it down to two books and I showed Charlie a book I found called Wrestling with Zombies when I went to check out the Hardy Boys books.

Again, I believe God or Suzzane, or both had a hand in my finding Wrestling with Zombies for Charlie and the reasons are. A) It wasn’t a book I had known about and b) it was about Wrestling and a chapter book. I wanted Charlie to get. Once I showed Charlie both books Charlie decided to purchase Wrestling with Zombies which was excellent because we can use Wrestling with Zombies in on Sports Lessons for our Unit Studies, we tackle in Homeschool.

We gathered up the books we wanted to purchase and headed to the cashier. When we walked by the                       Clearance Section I stopped because anyone who knows me knows I love finding deals on books. I looked through the clearance I found two books written by Debra Clopton, an author I had never heard of.

I decided to put back my Debbie McComber book and purchase two of Debra Clopton’s books and the reason I did was a) Christian Romances and b) the hero is a Cowboy. Anyone who knows me knows I wanted to marry a Cowboy. C)  Debra Clopton is a new Author I could check out.

Once I returned home, I looked Debra Clopton up online, and I was surprised to see she had over 20 books out in print, and I plan on purchasing each of these books. Which will give me something new to read each week until   Debbie McComber or Danielle Steel come out with their new books.

I have a question for you have you heard of Debra Clopton Author. If so, what did you think of her and the novels she has written? Do you know of other Christian Romance Authors I should check out? Or Western writers that feature females and not a lot of violence in their books?

But suddenly, the biggest regret of his life has moved in next door with a wounded heart, determined to become a spinster and that’s a challenge that Jarrod can’t pass up.

Between taking care of his Pops and his growing stirrup business, he isn’t looking for romantic commitments. But when the infant son he never knew about shows up at his doorstep, his world is turned upside down.

This confirmed bachelor might not think he needs a wife, but he sure needs help. Even Abby can see that, and despite her best efforts to keep her distance, she can’t help drawn to this new father-son duo.
