I wanted to let you know about a class I found in Dallas/ Fort Worth for Homeschooling students and their parents. These classes take place at the Amon Carter Museum of Art.
I would like to know if you’re in Dallas/ Fort Worth have you taken any classes at Amon Carter Museum of Art? I’m thinking of taking Charlie and asking one of my friends if she would like to go with us.
The classes happen during the day, and this means David has our car and I wouldn’t have a way to take Charlie and I. Although, I have a friend Kerry who loves Art and is a Photographer.
Kerry is helping me teach Charlie Science and Art and I would like to see if she would attend the course with us. This would give Kerry and us time to visit which we haven’t been able to do because were busy all the time. As well as help us prepare lessons for the future and showing us what supplies we will need.
The class I am thinking of taking is All-American Road Trip because I know Charlie would love learning about traveling to different areas of the State. Knowing we might not be able to travel with Charlie we can pretend to take a trip and so can Kerry and her family. Because like my family Kerry’s doesn’t have enough money for trips.

Make sure to check out the website for Amon Carter Museum of Art as they offer other Homeschooling classes for our students, and most of the classes are only $10 for the student. If the parent want’s to attend a class it is only $7 more. You can bring the little children with you. Amon Carter Museum teaches you how to use the classes along with the curriculum your already using.
I would like to let you know for my family this would be an enormous help as I am still struggling and worrying that I am not teaching Charlie all I should or shouldn’t be teaching Charlie. There is so much to do that that I worry I may be hindering Charlie when he returns to school next year.
Every day I sit and Pray as I ask God to lead me in what I need to teach Charlie and to not only grant me the patience but the resources to be able to teach Charlie. I don’t want to make it harder for Charlie to return to school next year and for Charlie to be behind. I would never forgive myself if I did that because I think I might have messed Suzzane up when I homeschooled her.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
